There was a large black hair in the bed when I pulled back the covers; the Wi-Fi didn’t work and there was zero 4G coverage in that area. I couldn’t wait to leave. For everyone else - stay at the Marriott

Southgate Hotel London
Great hotel, handy to the tube, plenty of local shops and cafes in walking distance. Room was very clean and spacious. Room did not have carpet, which I thought strange, but it was probably more hygienic. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Arch hotel
Nice location, near tube station but just off the main road with a quiet ambience, the staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was great, perfect amenities for a very self-sufficient traveller on a one-night stopover. I'm happy to recommend Arch Hotel.
