I can't really rate this cruise specifically. We were moved to a different cruise line at the last hour. I booked Amanda after doing my research, and over the past few months I was chatting to 1 person for organising stuff there. That person left the company and none of my communications (through Whatsapp) was noted anywhere. 2 days before the cruise a new person was in touch. I repeated the entire process. Up to the day of the cruise, everything was smooth with the admin. Then an hour or so before I got sent a "we regret to inform you....." message. Stating that the cruise had leaks due to the storms. But there were no recent storms that would not have allowed the leakage identification to have only occurred on the morning of the cruise. They had weeks or months to do so. I believe this was simply an excuse. Perhaps for overbooking. Anyway, luckily enough, they booked us on another cruise that offered the same itinerary, so we were ok with that. However, it was another cruiseline, one that I had ruled out as part of my initial research. In the end, it worked out.

Everything about this Ambassador cruise was outstanding. The cabin was spacious, spotless and beautifully appointed. The crew were wonderful -friendly, helpful and always ready to assist. Every meal was delicious and the live entertainment was outstanding. I'd highly recommend Ambassador Cruises to anyone looking for a great overnight Halong Bay experience.

We stayed overnight at this accommodation arriving late. The property amenities were clean and staff were helpful when leaving.
