“The hotel is not large, and whilst our room was clean and well maintained, was on the small side. The owner, who manned the reception desk and the bar, was quite a congenial, chatty guy. Breakfast was part of the tariff, & we were offered a choice of cooked options. We eat dinner at the Drumberg, the owner’s wife cooked up ‘haggis neeps and tatties”, which were pretty good. “Wonderful host and a wonderful place to have breakfast with a view. Would highly recommend this place as you travel the north coast 500.”

“Very lovely stay in the pod. It was clean and cozy and comfortable. We did not receive the instructions for how to check in but contacted the host and solved the problem. It was stressful because there is very little internet access in that area. The beautiful beach is a short walk away.”

“We pitched up on a dull afternoon and were delighted with our room. Spacious and with a bathroom with a bath. The chef was sick so we decided having a few options to have some food in the room and enjoy the tv. A nice tray was brought up with soup and cold meats focaccia etc. All very nice in the circumstances.”

“House was nice and clean, stocked with some of the basics you like to find (salt& pepper, washing liquids etc). The hosts made contact and offered to light the fire for our arrival which we were grateful for having got rather wet in the morning. We were also able to do a load of laundry before continuing our road trip. The local was a bit of a hidden gem being in between the Lochs, the access by harbour was great and our boys really enjoyed having the place to themselves for a while. It was a...
