Lovely hotel for me & my two kids for a one night stay, we had the quad room in the cottage. Comfortable room, a home from hove feel, only slight negative seemed the carpet was not hoovered. Would definitely stay again.

I had a lovely stay at The White Hart. The room was clean and pretty and the dinner and breakfast were both delicious. The staff were very friendly (other than the receptionist) and they went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I will definitely be back.

Nice location and hotel setting. However the rooms are small and we had a problem with the shower. The thermostat was broken as the shower went from freezing cold to scalding hot. I reported it to reception but came away feeling a little disgruntled that we paid so much money but couldn’t have a shower.

Disappointing

The hotel itself was fine.my room smelt like cess pit sewage. Some of the staff were borderline rude. Waited for someone to check me in. Waited to be seated at breakfast, had to ask four times for some dinner was told they are fully booked, then I would have to wait till 9pm, when I said send it to my room then the kitchen orders were full, so the story changed a few times eventually they seated me. I got the impression they were short staffed.

Great setting

Fantastic place to stay with great views and so quiet, food is lovely. Well worth a visit and great rooms with plenty of space.
