MY STAY AT KAGI WAS AMAZING. I booked an overwater villa on the ocean (water can be rough) so I recommend booking a lagoon villa. We changed our room with no issues. This is a truly beautiful island and we stayed in one of the over water bungalows which were on the smaller side but clean and comfortable. The water is amazing and the food on the island (we were half board) was very good.
The spa is great and prices not too high.
The only thing that lets this place down is the Dive Center, the staff are RUDE (except the young Spanish guy) the dive manager a small German guy was unbelievably rude and obnoxious. It stopped my husband from doing any further...

Stayed here for a couple nights and it was actually better than expected. However the weather can go from storms to tropical sun in minutes and we were lucky enough to have sunny days. The rooms were excellent with an amazing view. What surprises me the most was there food it was amazing breakfast buffet and dinners. I definitely recommend staying here the staff are very welcoming and attend to ur needs.

Loved the feeling of being on a secluded, peaceful island that felt authentic in design and decor rather than like a Westernized modern hotel. The staff were incredibly nice. There was a variety of delicious and fresh food everyday. The sea activities were plentiful. The massage at the spa was deeply restful and high quality. We stayed at three different places in the Maldives and this was our favorite.

Has a great time in the Water Villa. Snorkeling right off your room balcony. Went deep sea fishing, etc. Also took a trip to Male. Wanted to take a day trip to Kuda Bandos but was not able to as other people did not sign up.

Be prepared to spend some money on activities and meals. The cheapest meal for 2 would not be under usd 200, all the way up to 700 usd and beyond, depending on your what you want. Overall great place. Don't think getting out of the island is quite simple, special transfer arrangements is required for any transfers, and these run from 250 usd...
