Great location Owner and wife very accommodating, wonderful fresh breakfast, great eggs, bread, fresh juice, coffee. Everything was wonderful. Clean rooms, good beds, nice hot water in shower, great location.
We had a pleasant stay at this family-owned hostal. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The room was simple but clean, and the shower had hot water, which we really appreciated after long days out. The room got chilly at night, but overall we were comfortable. A good place to stay if you're looking for something priceworthy, straightforward and well-run.
Such an amazing experience. The owners were so kind and helpful. The service and support was better than some 5star hotels I’ve been at. The views and listening to the river outside was so tranquil. Definitely worth the time and highly recommended!
This is a perfect place for families or solo travelers looking for a quiet and peaceful stay. Clean, excellent breakfast and service. Our room was on the river and made for a calming and peaceful night with the background sound of the currents. Very sweet place to stay - excellent value for the price. Highly recommend.
This property is very sweet and charming and within easy walking distance to the down town square with shops and restaurants. It is also easy walking to the train station. The owners are very sweet and the complementary breakfast was delicious. Overall it was a great stay.
The hotel is a little walk from the town but well worth it. Lovely little lodge and the people running it were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable and being right on the river was so nice. You could hear it running by. The breakfast was good and they made a sack breakfast for us the day we left early to MP. They held our extra luggage until we returned. Highly recommend staying here.
The property was absolutely beautiful! We were surrounded by breathtaking mountains and could see the ruins and hear the creek outside our window. We were so pleased with the authenticity of this amazing lodge!
Our stay was very nice. Owners were very friendly and made sure we were happy with our stay. It was a very good stay. Thanks to the couple (owners) of the Lodge. Thank you.
Beautiful, quaint lodge along the river with views of the mountainside from the balcony and main lobby for breakfast! The staff was very kind and informative. No frills rooms, perfect for the cost efficient traveler! Short walk to the center of town. Was perfect for our needs.
The husband and wife team at the Quechua's Lodge were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and comfortable and a bonus is our rooms had views of the river and mountains. Highly recommend.
The property owners were amazing! We had to check in at a very odd time and they were super flexible for us. Always checked on us and got us anything we needed. Breakfast was very good, as well! And they even helped arrange transportation to tours, which was a very cool experience. The rooms were very nice, shower had hot water, the view was great, and the sound of the water can put you to sleep quickly. Highly recommend this place and visiting Ollantaytambo. Beautiful city with the best food around Peru! It’s also very walkable no matter where you want to go in town.
Fabulous! Quick and friendly service; owner greeted us at the door (after hours) and walked us to our room. Amazing hospitality. Clean and neat room. Provided secured storage for our luggage while we went to Macchupicchu!
The owners are amazing! Best breakfast homemade. It feels like a bed and breakfast/hostel. For where it is, it makes sense for what we got. If you have mold allergies, this may not be the place for you. Bathroom has a lot of mold but that is normal for Peru.
Most amazing customer service!! The owner and her husband were very welcoming from the beginning and flexible to our needs. Beds were a little hard but the blankets were very warm and soft! Best water pressure in Ollantaytambo :) the breakfast was beyond delicious.. sooo fresh. 10/10
The property is closer to a hostel. The property owners were very nice and hoped that they can improve the property to make it more pleasant. There was limited water, particularly hot/warm water. However, access to the town center was convenient.
It was a very comfortable stay except for a plumbing issue where my family has to move from one room to another. The view of the mountain is amazing from our room and the sound of river gushing from my family’s room. My family’s room has 3 bedrooms, which makes it a great one for my sister and my 2 nephews. When Edith found out that we have not had a chance to have dinner before checking in, she cooked omelette with bread and cheese. Stan, her husband helped with the luggage and they let us store our luggage while hiking Machu Picchu and arranged transportation for us. Thanks!
