"This is the most beautiful hotel I've stayed in. Beautifully maintained, immaculately clean, very polite and helpful staff (from reception to catering to facilities staff), excellent location with around a 3 minute walk to the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants along the way. A bus stop right outside the back of the property for getting to Fira and beyond too which was very easy and most definitely worth the short journey. We loved the hotel breakfast as well which was fully stocked right up until the last moment and delicious. Couldn't complain about a single thing or recommend this enough. Was our first time in Santorini and if we're ever back I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Thank you Kastelli resort"

"Could not have asked for a better experience on my first time in Santorini and traveling alone from the US. The front desk manager, Athena, was prompted in reaching out to confirm my reservation and airport pickup months in advance. She checked up on me almost daily to ensure I had everything I needed during my stay. Kastos, the shuttle driver is a gem and so sweet. He made sure I had his personal contact to reach out at any time when I needed a ride (much more affordable than other taxi services). And Valentina, the housekeeper, there are no words to express how great she is. A woman who takes pride in her work. My breakfast was brought to my room and precisely the time I requested and it was always hot, fresh, and delicious! She thoroughly cleaned my room daily and even replaced my sheets when I mistakenly slept in my makeup. Aja Retreat is certainly a place to stay with amazing views, affordable rates, and an incredible staff!"

"The only complaint we had was that we couldn’t stay longer. The resort is beautiful the staff were incredible and the sunrise from our balcony was magnificent. The restaurant at the resort is great but there are dozens of wonderful bars, lounges and restaurants within a two minute walk as well. Every member of staff we had contact with was helpful courteous and very friendly, from the desk staff at check in to the maintenance and cleaners. It’s a bit of a cliche, but we really did feel like family. We will definitely be returning. ♥️"

"Hotel arranged transport for us from the airport within same day notice. Their staff was extremely helpful and very friendly! Although we were their only guests as we arrived just as season opened, they didn’t have the kitchen open but made arrangements for us to have breakfast somewhere. Which made us feel they truly cared about our comfort. Our room was spacious with a small kitchen and balcony. With spare blankets and pillows. It was just 2 minutes from the water and 5 minutes from the town square. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again."

"Book this property! I promise it will exceed your expectations. This place made our trip truly memorable from start to finish. The staff was absolutely amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a wonderful stay. Upon arrival, they immediately greeted us, took our bags to our room, and made sure we felt completely settled in. During check-in, they thoughtfully asked about any food allergies to note on our account. As someone with Celiac disease, this meant so much to me. I had zero issues with the food on site — the servers and bartenders were already informed of my gluten allergy and remembered it every time we visited a restaurant. That level of care and attention was truly exceptional. The facilities were stunning and beautifully maintained. The entire property truly felt like a luxury resort. We were given a golf cart tour upon arrival, where staff showed us the spa, on-site restaurants, gym, and the various pools. It was the perfect introduction and made navigating the property so easy. While Kamari may not be considered the most glamorous side of the island, we actually loved how quiet and secluded it felt. After visiting some of the surrounding cities, which were much busier and had hotel rooms backing directly onto the main tourist paths, we were especially grateful for the peaceful atmosphere here. Staying on this side gave us the perfect, easy access to explore, but a relaxing retreat to return to each day. Would 100% stay again!! "
