This property's main building is closed for renovation through Spring 2027. Guestrooms remain open in the annex building (Lilla Hotellet), located approximately 40 meters away. During this time, check in takes place at Lilla Hotellet and breakfast is available at The Bishops Arms pub, located approximately 78 meters away.

Professional staff that makes the hotel stay easy and welcoming. Clean rooms and excellent breakfast selections. The hotel has also an Italian restaurant and a pub that provides great dining options.

Fake advertising

The hotel advertises having a swimming pool open from 8-22 in addition to a spa, which is why we had chosen this hotel. Not true, there is no pool. We tried to contact the hotel, to no avail—deceptive and deplorable service.

The hotel was under renovation, but that information was not shown when we booked. There should have been a charging station for EV, there wasn’t even parking. The pictures lie, everything was old and indeed in need of a renovation. The spa was the only area that didn’t disappoint, beside the fact that the “pool” in pictures is a 20cm deep jacuzzi. And it was for an additional cost. Expected something nicer for the high price we paid.

Service was terrible. There is no air conditioning in the hotel and it was very hot in the room. There is no bell boy so we had to carry all the bags up ourselves. We traveled with a 2 year old and apparently there was a gift for him but they didn’t give it to him. We had ordered a crib for the room but it wasn’t there. It took several hours before they brought it and then they asked if we could assemble ourselves. We asked to get our room cleaned each day but all they did was making the bed. They did not change the sheets, vacuum, mop, or wipe down anything. There were numerous other things that was not taken care off/ disappointing. This hotel isn’t cheap and I would expect better service. I will not stay there again.

The best was the location.The hotel should not be 4 stars or vip, just 1 or 2 star.As the 1st room we were sent to, it was small and dingy and infested with silver fish .On complaining, the lady on the phone said she was not aware.Then moved us to the new refurbished block.It was bigger and better.But in the bathroom, the shower door was off the panel just hanging and even though no shower taken water could be seen around the drain as if overflowed .The shower above was dry. The lady at the reception said she would send someone over 1st thing in the morning as it was very late and we were tired.But nothing was done the next wholeday.We booked for 2 nights. Anyways we carried on staying in the same room as it was the last night.When got up in the morning saw a black worm /silver fish like creature crawling on the curtain next to the bed.If it was seen in the night,would have spoiled the whole night rest. When on holiday you expect your accomodation to be comfortable and clean and tidy so that when you come back after excursions get peaceful rest which was not the case because of the poor hygiene issues and silver fish infestation.

Många goda restauranger i anslutning till hotellet. Rummet på hotellet var utmärkt och hotellet ligger väldigt nära örebro slott. Det var väldigt dyrt för att få tillgång till poolen i 2 timmar.

Alldeles för varmt

Stora hotellet renoverades så vi hamnade i ett annex, högst upp. Normalt brukar de inte boka in gäster där, då det blir för varmt. Det kunde de låtit bli att göra nu också, det var som en bakugn. En fläkt fanns, som viftade runt den varma luften. Vi turades om att (försöka)sova närmast fläkten. När vi vred oss av och än gungade sängen så mycket att vi väckte varandra. En av de sämsta hotellnätter vi haft. Vi fick en ursäkt av personalen och medlidande, men det hjälper ju inte så mycket. Glömde nämna att det låg en rejäl dammtuss/hårgegg på duschgolvet, men i övrigt verkade det okej städat. Litet rum, ingen utsikt då det lilla fönstret satt väldigt högt upp. Frukost på bishop arms, mysigt ställe med ett hyggligt utbud. Jag hoppas och tror att allt blir bättre efter renoveringen av det ”riktiga” hotellet. Trevlig personal, mycket bra läge.

Saknade information om pågående ombyggnad inför vistelsen, svårt att köra fram med bil till hotellet. Därefter fick vi en väldigt tydlig beskrivning hur man kör till parkering och gå därifrån samt även bra information var frukosten höll till för ombyggnationen.

Bekvämt och mysigt

Trotts ombyggnad i stora så var lilla hotellet mysigt, litet rum på gamla vindsvåningen som var riktigt fint och mysigt. Personalen trevliga och behjälpliga, märkligt väckningssamtal 06.12 störde sömnen lite men i huvudsak väldigt trevligt vistelse

Det var fel hotellets beskrivning. Jag har bokat Elite stora hotell men bodde i Elite lilla hotell pga renovation. För att äta frukost måste gå ut till grannbyggnaden med tanke på det kraftiga regnet var det mycket obekvämt.
