I love staying at Desert Surfside when visiting Osoyoos and it is one of our go-to places to stay when visiting. It has a great location, is reasonably priced and right on the beach. The staff are also incredibly friendly.

This is such a perfect spot! Small self-contained unit perfect for two adults. With a full size fridge and a four burner cooktop. Plus a microwave. Dishes and cutlery supplied + access to barbecues on the patio. A beautiful beach with a lot of beach recliners. A quick walk over the bridge to the public beach, 10 minute walk to the nearest grocery store 15 minute walk to Main Street. Great location, really friendly and helpful staff!

Staff was good while there, definitely family friendly, the use of trolley and elevator was a huge bonus. Bbq area very clean and tidy. They had beach lounges, towels, chairs & umbrellas to use on the beach which was nice. Downside was I booked through Expedia and hotel info said no prepayment needed pay at the hotel. However the same or next day they took the 1st night total. I emailed with screenshots and was told that hotel policy is prepay (I never found this info online) I said I wanted to use a different card that I get rewards with vs the card I use for online. They wouldn’t refund it but allowed 2 additional payments using the card I wanted to use. Just just be aware that the ‘pay at property’ is NOT an option here.

We loved this vacation at the Desert Surfside Inn. First off - the staff and people who run this property are AMAZING! The location is perfect, the condo we were in was LOVELY. They supply just about everything you need but we would have loved coffee filters as well : ). The place smelled and looked very clean. The toilet could have been a tiny bit cleaner (around the hinges) and we would appreciate more than 2 rolls of TP. There was 5 of us so 2 rolls were gone in the first 2 days. Everyone at the Inn were so kind and helpful. Anything we asked for- they were on it! The beach is sublime and they really look after the property well. The food choices in the area is great. We ate at the Barn Owl several times, as well as FUGASA because their food is FIRE! best burgers, breakfast food and divine sandwiches. Can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you!!!
