It doesn't get much better than Hakuba Valley on Honsho and one of the stars of the area is Cortina. With a fabulous lodge right at the Base of the resort and a bit of village to rummage around. Great terrain of groomers for us old guys to dream of past glories. Very clean, modern hotel with excellent service from the staff. The hotel shuttle to the ski areas in Hakuba was very convenient. The hotel shuttle even picked us up when we were shopping in town and could not catch an Uber or Taxi. The service was exceptional.
