"A beautifully maintained property, room very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Charming and elegant owners, justifiably proud of there home and business. A petting 'zoo' of lovely birds and animals is included in their land. Dogs were welcomed and good safe walking is immediately outside the gate. Lovely breakfast included. Nearby town did not have much to offer but we ate well there."

"This was a last minute late night stop on our way to the Algarves. It was a bit hard to find but ended up being our favorite stop in Portugal over the past 2 weeks. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished. The shower is fantastic. The breakfast is simply outstanding. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property and the pool. Tudo é bom aqui, desde as amplas e equipadas casas, super confortáveis, ao espaço exterior, sossego, comida entregue a porta de casa pelas sempre atenciosas funcionárias que não deixam que falte nada. Mais, venho com o meu cão, de porte grande, e também ele adora o Monte. Tem bastante espaço para correr livremente e é muito bem recebido. "

"A lovely hotel situated in the middle of a rural area so driving is a must. Indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and treatment rooms available. Food was good but repetitive so most days we had breakfast then spent of the day out and had dinner before going back to the hotel."
