“This hotel is located right on the Douro, in a picturesque spot. There's a parking area right outside. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel claims to be four star; it may have been once but it no longer is. The rooms are spartan. A 20" tv from the 2000s. No amenities whatsoever in the bathroom, which had a broken wall shower and between one and three lights randomly working, depending on I know what. I had to move furniture to find the only single wall outlet close to the bed....

“Ruhig am Fluss gelegen, hochwertig ausgestattet mit allem Komfort, herzliche Gastgeber und sehr gutes portugiesisches Essen. Bestens geeignet für Familien oder Paare. Mit Innen- und Außenpool, Spielplatz, großer Wiese und guter Weinauswahl bei gutem wie bei schlechtem Wetter eine großartige Unterkunft. Danke an Rui und Elisabeth für einen tollen Aufenthalt.”
