upon arriving at the hotel at 11:30 PM, I was shocked to find that there was no staff available to open the door. Instead, a sign indicated that the staff was out, along with a phone number to call. Despite multiple attempts, nobody answered the phone, leaving me stranded outside the hotel. As a result, I had no choice but to book an alternative hotel for the night. This unexpected inconvenience not only caused considerable stress but also led to additional expenses that were not part of my initial travel plans, i contacted expedia asking for refund, but expedia told me that the manager refused to refune my money.

Beautifully decorated house with all the comforts that makes you feel as if you are at home. Great location near the airport and for a day trip to Palermo

The room we stayed in was nice enough. Some furnishings were older looking but bathroom was recently done and more modern. What was the problem was our check-in. Arrived to find front door locked. I tried to text, email and called at least 4 different numbers until someone finally answered. Waited 10 minutes for someone to arrive and check us in. Since we were from the U.S. it was lucky I had internet and phone service. Many travelers do not. If I didn’t I’m not sure what would have happened. The gentleman who checked us in did recommend a nice pizza place within a 3 minute walk. It was delicious. We also hired him to drive us to the airport in the morning. He was punctual and a good driver!

I enjoyed my stay. It was nice to walk around the neighborhood. I enjoyed sitting outside on the roof patio, very beautiful. It was nice having the shuttle available to get to the airport for a very early flight. The driver was there on time and was very helpful. The shuttle is much cheaper than taking a taxi. Friendly staff.

NINO, the owner/proprietor is the BEST! He picked us up from the airport, and took us back at 4:44 AM! to catch our early flight. He's a great ambassador of Palermo and, according to his joyful self, the King of the Beach

We arrived at 12:30pm for check in. The front door was locked and there were no instructions on how to access the lobby. We rang the bell and knocked for about 10 minutes. No one came. We waited on the narrow street with our luggage until another guest walked out and opened the door for us. We walked into the empty lobby and looked at an empty welcome desk. We finally found a business card on the desk. We called the numbers. The first was disconnected. The 2nd was answered by a gentleman who shared he'd be over shortly. 15 minutes later, he arrived and asked us to pay before entering our rooms (They charged an extra 10 euro above what our initial reservation was for 'fees.') We booked two rooms for adults and kids. The room in the main bulding was spectacular. Exactly like the website pictures and what we expected. The other room was actually an adjacent facility and was nothing like the pictures. The AC downstairs did not work making the rooms unusable. We called and told it'd be fixed. It was not. The beds in the master were a twin and a child's princess bed (see pic). There was debris, ants, broken glass, random nails, broken shower spigot, trash in the appliances. The shower had very little water pressure. The front door had to be wrestled open There was a bag of used shoes in the master bedroom. The kids room had no AC. When we asked about other options, we were told this was all they had.

This a good place to stay for few days and visiting sicilia. People who work there are very kind. Only breakfast for us was not what we like 👍 Instead of this, we were very happy to be here and will came back again for sure

Die Lage war bisschen blöd, 37 Minuten Fußweg zum Strand. Kein Bus, kein Taxi fährt dort, heißt also man muss laufen. Sauberkeit war gut. Ist für wenige Nächte okay zum überbrücken da es Nähe Flughafen ist.

Stayed one night before our departure at airport, which is close to this property—but it is not a noise problem. Beach is nearby; we walked to it. Enjoyed dinner and dessert on the main street of the town. Room was comfortable. We had to depart before breakfast at 8 am. Would stay here again. Host is great! Arrange transportation to/from airport with host to save money.

We needed a place to stay with close access to the Palermo airport. This is super convenient, about a 15 minute drive. The area is pretty quiet. Two streets over is the Main Street with some shops and restaurants. They do all close for siesta. We had a hard time finding a late lunch spot and most shops were closed for the afternoon and early evening. The B&B was cutely decorated, The room was clean. The shower had good pressure and the bed was firm and comfortable enough. A little maintenance was needed; the toilet leaked onto the bathroom floor and there was a small infestation of bugs coming in on one wall. We understand things like this happen and it may have been just timing. We did arrive to check in and found the property locked and unattended. There was a sign on the door with a number. We called and were told 10 minutes, but we waited 45. We would go back. The host was friendly and gave us a dinner recommendation.

This is a very charming B&B that is beautifully decorated and nicely located. The bed was comfortable and the room was quite large. I’d recommend calling ahead with your arrival time to make sure someone is there to meet you.

Lo único bueno fue la decoración de las instalaciones. Al llegar al aeropuerto de Palermo llamamos por teléfono a Nino, que nos había dicho que llamáramos al llegar para que viniera a recogernos. Nos dijo que serian 25€ por el servicio “Shuttle” y al llegar dijo que era 25€ por 2 personas, aunque sabía que éramos 4. Fue muy desagradable con nosotros, nada aclarativo y estaba infundadamente enfadado. Al llegar nos dijo que teníamos que pagar una tasa extra de 30€, más de la mitad del precio de la habitación, porque aunque la habitación fuera de 4 personas habíamos puesto solo de 3 personas en la reserva. Nos dijo que no aceptaba tarjeta para cobrarnos el “Shuttle” y el extra, que sumaban ya más de lo que había costado la propia noche en el hostal. Nos indicó luego dónde estaba el desayuno “self-service” y vimos que había ya colocados, la noche anterior, medio-croissant en una bandeja tapada con una cúpula de plástico transparente junto con una cesta con fruta y dos cestas con bollería industrial plastificada individualmente. Había dos dosificadores de cereales pero nunca vimos nada de leche por ningún lado. Había bolsas de té y café soluble y azúcar y edulcorantes. Por último, pan de molde y una tostadora. Una vergüenza dejar el medio croissant ahí toda la noche junto con el resto del desayuno y una muestra de indiferencia total. Lo pero, sin duda alguna, la actuación tan desagradable de Nino.

Great location near the airport in a nice town within walking distance of restaurants. TAM Casa Vacanze was a lovely small hotel, with nice, clean, roomy rooms.
