The Desert Isle of Palm Springs was lovely! We stayed in Room 8 for three days, thoroughly enjoying the extremely spacious accommodation. In fact, when we walked in, we were shocked at just how big the unit was. The unit was extremely clean, and it was wonderful having a full kitchen so we could make breakfast every day, saving money to use on other fun Palm Spring things. The two full bathrooms were far more than needed, but both were well stocked with fluffy towels and toiletries. We used one of the two pools once, and towels were provided in-room. We didn’t use the onsite restaurant, so we couldn’t speak to the quality, however, the front desk was efficient and the lobby area very inviting. The hotel is convenient for shopping and restaurants, as well as downtown. The ONLY drawback to Room 8 is the TERRIBLE parking spot. Thank goodness we had a small car. Without it, I’m not sure we could have maneuvered our way into it. Overall, this was a great stay, and we look forward to a return visit.

Been coming to this property for years, they are under new management (since earlier this year), and they are still working on transitioning to a full and competent staff. For us, it is a great location & nice amenities however, not quite up to the standards I am sure the new management is striving to achieve.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past. We were told the Hilton or Hyatt has bought them out. Since February, you can tell that there is less concern to care for the facility. I was told there will be lots of remodeling going on. SO, I believe, until then, the maintenance and upkeep will be lacking. This used to be an AMAZING place. It was old but it was so clean and well kept. Not this time.
