“Wonderfully comfortable guesthouse in an oasis of calm, but also a great location, close to the main streets for eating and shopping. Run by a great host who can arrange taxi-tours and is very knowledgeable about local sights. I would recommend this lodging without hesitation.”

“An old style heritage hotel at a calm & quite place. Closer to Cruise jetties. It is equidistance from both North and South Goa. Good place for families. Restaurant needs improvement - need more space and variety. Breakfast is below average. No varieties. Need serious attention. Rooms were good, fairly big and well maintained. Wooden furnitures (coat, tables & chairs) give a special feeling. Though I got 51% off in hotels.com, the rooms are priced very high in the hotel website. ...

“Very quiet local beach nearby, practically to ourselves during the day but a bit busier overnight. Much nicer than the tourist beaches Without a car, would be reliant on taxi etc to get anywhere else. The service was amazing, the kokum welcome drink was lovely!”

“My room was big and comfortable, with a mini-fridge. The staff was helpful. It's listed as a 5-star hotel, but in reality it could be viewed as a truly excellent 3-star or a so-so 4-star. The breakfast only had a few selections, but several of them changed every day, which is a good thing when you stay several days. My room was on the top floor, and there must be a metal roof, because it rained on my last day and it was so loud in the room I couldn't think. I also fault the hotel for turning up...

“Slightly out of the way and not geared up for Western tourists. We were the only ones staying there. The room was OK but the balcony unfortunately overlooked a building site. There was no bucket (for soaking clothes) and the bathroom didn't have an extractor fan. The best thing was the breakfasts which we really enjoyed and here the service was much the best in the hotel.”

“After a small delay at check in (the hotel was unable to find my booking at first) I was soon taken to my room. All the staff were very friendly and helped me when I needed it. The breakfast staff were especially friendly. The room was ok - it was pretty much i what I expected for an oldish hotel in India. The location is very close to the river and the centre is all within walking distances.”
