  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

We rented a beautiful 3 bedroom condo in Tower 1, overlooking the beach. The condo itself and the resort amenities were exactly what we were looking for, and exceeded expectations.

Overall it was a good week. Good-views in tower 1 amazing! Room was big and plenty of room and nice kitchen. Bad-parking sucked barely any garage parking at night at all. Toilet paper was low, no soap, fees are high. Ugly-fees, everything in Panama beach is inflated prices. Weather is rough. Pool closes when it may rain haha So there’s a lot of options on the beach!

Dirty, smelly vacation accommodations.

My stay was not what I expected, the unit cleanliness was well below my expectations.The floors were visible dirty as well as counter tops in the kitchen. Upon initial entry of the unit, the odour was moldy and musky, this odour remained for my entire stay. The sofa had a covering that was obviously filthy seemed as if it has not been washed for a very long time. I was very disappointed with the unit - the smell and overall cleanliness made my stay uncomfortable.

The place was very dirty the floors were so dirty that just walking around the place the bottom of your feet turned black you had to wash them before you could put shoes on tThesink smelled musty and don't even open the dishwasher you would gag from the smell the staff was rude and didn't care said the place had been cleaned that morning and the bed was a tiny double bed with an egg crate bed topper stuffed under the sheets very uncomfortable we slept apart most of the week And when you talk to the staff if you could find one that spoke English nobody cared and said it was cleaned that morning that you arrived and there was nothing to be done. I paid $200 for cleaning fee and all they did was sweep the floor. There was papers and bottles behind the dresser and tv stand. Very disappointed !!

The location of this property to the beach is wonderful and easy to access from either buildings. Contactless check-in was a breeze and available in a timely manor. There are many restaurants, water and amusement parks near which makes it perfect for both families or couples. The unit I stayed in was good but would be great if the tv’s were updated and there were available blankets or comforters on the bed.

The ad for the property was incredibly misleading. What they don’t tell you is Tower 2 faces Tower 1; and there is a VERY busy street in between them. From our condo all we could see was Tower 1 and all you could hear was the traffic. Waste of money.

The room smelt absolutely terrible. Walls were stained. Furniture was stained and old. It’s a 1 star hotel with 3 star pricing. Pictures showed for the room we booked weren’t accurate. Receptionist even stated rooms get falsely advertised. Paid extra for a deluxe room and that just meant the sofa opened. Cancelled and had to find somewhere else.

This was awful. The room and location were nice but we paid our money then when we got here they said we owed more when it said everything was in full to begin with. Then on top of that we had to pay for parking when we paid well over what we should have. I will never be booking through VRBO again.

Liked the location...central...did not like the high fees before rental...did not like the fees if you wanted extras.(ex. houskeeping).did not like paying for parking twice and not getting a response when calling mgmt...did not like the list of things they could charge you with if they deemed it necessary...took many pictures to show problems we saw upon arrival so we would not be charged...put a damper on the trip...next time will stay at hotel.

Our time was nice. I wish they had put more towels in the rooms. That wasn’t specified until we were driving here. Also they check in time and time the garage was open to get a garage pass was not the same as specified. We almost didn’t get a garage pass But this are minor.

Overall good stay. Relatively clean - broken chair on the balcony when we arrived. Needs to be fixed. What is supposed to be a queen bed isn’t a queen size bed.

Great Condo

Had a problem when we got there. They gave us a one bedroom. I had booked a 2. Resolved the next morning. We were in Tower 2. If you want a beachfront, you need to try to get a Tower 1. No problem with the elevators!! A previous resort was a nightmare. You will love this condo resort.

What I didn’t like was the fact that you have to check in 72 hours prior to you coming down nobody can foresee the future! Life happens We called to check in and they basically told us they didn’t see our reservation so because they didn’t see it they said that they would just put us in a room for the night it was immaculate And while putting us in that room for the night they told us that our room was being worked on by maintenance because the air was down. They gave us a time to check out of the initial room they gave us which was early and in the process we called again to see if I room was ready and we spoke to someone else and they I said that our room was being cleaned from it being vacant the night before Long story short they gave our room to somebody else because we didn’t check in 72 hours before hand which caused us to be homeless because they were kicking us out of the unit that they had given us before

Don't Believe The Price Quoted - It will be more!

The condo was as advertised ..... however nothing else was. The price I paid was only 1/3 of the cost .... I had to pay a 354.00 resort fee before check in. The directions and information for check in were totally incorrect. There was no one at the desk (4 other families were there looking for someone also) and we could not get car passes or wristbands. EVERY phone # went to voice mail and after waiting over 30 minutes (no one called any of us back) one of the people waiting went to look for someone - anyone. He found a security guard who gave us a paper to put in our dash and told us to come back the next morning to pick up our car passes and our wrist bands. This was at 5:10 pm - not late since our check in time was 5:00 pm. It is very poorly run.....and the "surprise" fees are absurd.

Room was switched last minute

I was contacted 28 hours before our check in by emerald resorts and told that my condo in the grand panama resort had sold and we were moved to another condo 2 miles down the road off the beach. We were vacationing with 2 other families who were staying in the grand panama. Needless to say this was a major disruption to our plans and caused our vacation to be much less enjoyable because we were separated from our family. I know the sale of property doesnt happen overnight and someone had to know the property was under contract yet two weeks prior my payment for the Condon was withdrawn from my account. We did receive a partial refund of the amount however overall the vacation was not what we had planned and hoped for for the last 6 months.

The condo I booked was for 8 people. The ‘dining’ room table was a pub table with 2 stools. There were only 2 coffee cups and not a regular coffee pot. It is customary that I usually do buy something and leave it there for the next guest, so that is what was left this year. The condo was nice, but for sure could have been better stocked. My family and I may be a little spoiled on what to expect, but this one is at the bottom of my list. We have stayed here before (a different condo) and Grand Panama is super nice. Overall, my family had a great time, nice and peaceful stay.

El hotel está muy bien el apartamento tiene de todo y muy limpio, el problema fue que pagamos para un apartamento de 8 personas y supuestamente tenía un sofá cama queen size pero cuando llegó la noche no había cama así que reclamamos pero nos ofrecieron otro apartamento viejo y lo tenían cerrado porque están remodelándolo y olía mal y estaba todo estropeado pero estoy más molesta con Hotels.com Porque cuando llamas no contestan sino que dicen que sus líneas están estropeadas y las están tratando de arreglar pero llevan así más de una semana así que es imposible hablar con alguien Personalmente para informarse de cualquier cosa
