The place is fine for staying just one night, at least that's what I thought. The hotel is ok, it's close to a metro station, has shampoo, soap and towels, it's got the basics. However, there was a tiny cockroach in the bed the morning after. The place can have whatever it might, but this puts it on the very bottom of the scale

The hotel is located next a casino and in a bad part of town. The rooms are old and dirty. The sheets are filthy and no hot water. Had to change rooms 3 times because of problems. The plaster walls are crumbling and the bathroom has cockroaches coming out of the shower drain. I will never recommend or stay in this place ever again . So disgusting.

Una habitación demasiado fea, vieja y nada confortable además a las 9 pm había que estar dentro y no se podía ni entrar ni salir del hotel hasta las 5 am

I wanted a cheap dorm-style set-up and that's what I got! The price was right! I paid for an extra bed, which increased overall cost, but on the other hand that minimized the crowding, as I only had to deal with two, rather than three roommates. The two roommates I got did turn out to be nice people! Shower and bath facilities were clean. Sheets changed every day. No problems! If dorm-style living arrangements at a low cost meet your needs, then go for the Hotel Repúlica!

Hotels.com sucks ass!
We accidenlt booked this room and we were trying to go to fla. Not pa. Hotels.com was terrible. They would not give us our money back or honestly help in anyway. Trust me go with booking.com. we used them and it is going amazing!

Sehr heruntergekommenes Hotel, jedoch preislich nicht zu schlagen. Wenn man nur nach einer Unterkunft für 1-2 Tage sucht kann man es wohl aushalten. Der Aufenthalt hat aber nichts mit Urlaub oder Komfort zutun. Ein Kühlschrank und ein Mülleimer wurden uns erst nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen bereitgestellt und auch sonst ist die Ausstattung und ihr Zustand sehr schlecht.

Bis dato sxhlimmste Unterkunft meines Lebens
Ich habe zu dem Preis wenig erwartet und bin eigentlich nicht empfindlich, aber was wir vorgefunden hatten war hart. Das Zimmer hat brutal gestunken, Fenster konnten nicht geöffnet werden. Wir dachten wir hätten ein 4-Bett-Zimmer für uns 3 allein gebucht, denn ob ich 3 oder 4 Personen eingegeben hatte machte preislich keinen Unterschied und es wurde immer angezeigt wir haben ein Zimmer und nicht 3 Betten reserviert. Wir wurden dann zu einem Herrn ins Zimmer gepackt der schon etwas länger dort wohnte und überall alte Kaffeebecher und Essenstüten rumstehen hatte. Aufgrund seiner Gehbehinderung wollten wir hierrauf nicht rumreiten, jedoch hätte ich vom Personal erwartet, dass der Müll aus dem Zimmer entfernt wird bevor neue Gäste kommen. Wir hatten nur ein bezogenes Kissen, eins ohne Kissenbezug und ein Bett hatte kein Kissen. Sie sollten hingebracht werden wenn wir unterwegs sind. Ist nicht passiert. 1 der 2 vorhandenen Handtücher sah benutzt aus und auch das Bettzeug machte keinen sauberen Eindruck. Wir waren froh als wir wieder dort raus waren.

La verdad los últimos 5 meses e empezado a quedarme hasta 3 veces al mes depende, y pues me considero un cliente frecuente, aún así las últimas veces han sido horribles desde las habitaciones sin agua caliente, con cucarachas, aire acondicionado descompuesto, la ventana no cerraba bien y en la noche cuando llovió todo se mojó el piso, visitó el hotel por motivos de Amo Universidad salgo tarde de mi trabajo y me sale mejor quedarme allí a que está súper céntrico cerca de la Universidad de Panamá, pero pues me e seguido quedando con las ansias de que mejore el servicio y calidad. Pero a sido todo lo contrario, espero lean mi comentario y pues créanme que es un comentario constructivo!

The place is clean but roaches in the room is a big issue and staff are terrible the house keeping do their job well buy managements are careless,same breakfast every morning cereal and milk 2 slices of bread with egg every single morning its take it or leave it. The place itself is clean but no trash can nowhere you have to go downstairs across the street to throw your trash. one dude at the reception tried to steal my girl while going to the vehicle she was missing for a few minutes i was like where is she when i went back to the door this dude was sweet talking and flirting with the girl I was like when this dude get grab the girl from me and how this happened since we got off the elevator together that was very disrespectful I did not notice how he got her attention I was like oh wow.I dont know his name he works at the front desk

The receptionist is very nice, helpful with a lovely smile...(she is great) the room i got was 601, i recomend it ! great view, very clean other than a roach was on the wall (hay que fumigar!) the hotel is currently under renovation but you can tell that they are trying their best to give us the customers a quality hotel. the bed was very confortable, they do have HOT WATER. its very close to local shopping areas. i slept like a king! for the price compared to others around the area its the best ! i recomend it ...
