Check-in for this property takes place at The Resort Collection Welcome Center at Long Beach Resort, located at 10511 Front Beach Road. After-hours check-in takes place at the Majestic Beach Resort, located at 10901 Front Beach Road.
During the spring break vacation period, the individual making the reservation must be 21 years of age or older and must occupy the rental property for the entire term of the reservation. Singles under 21 years of age are prohibited unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Check-out during spring break is 8 AM. Restrictions may apply regarding the number of people that may accompany a parent or legal guardian. The age policy will be strictly enforced and identification of all guests will be examined at check-in. Occupancy policies are strictly enforced. Chaperoned groups are prohibited.

There were hidden "registration" fees once you booked in that were required before they issued your parking passes and wristbands. Apparently this was unanimously decided 2 weeks prior by the Board and not communicated to any patrons. Be ready to pay more fees on top of the ones you were aware of. Also, rooms were dirty, no lights worked, staff were unhelpful, and really just doing their jobs as directed I'm sure. Overall not a great place to stay. Spend your money elsewhere.

Our unit itself was clean and comfortable. This place is run by multiple property managers. Front desk/reception desk workers are no help with any problems or questions about the units. They will tell you that they can not help you. You will be asked who you made your your reservation with and told to contact them. ?? I thought I made my reservation through "Laketown Wharf" but apparently not even though I made my reservation through their website. Very confusing! We felt as though we were on our own at an abandoned hotel. Felt very unsafe. If you try to question the person sitting at the drive in entrance, they will tell you they do not work for the hotel. They work for a separate security company therefore they can not answer any of your questions about the hotel. And the "security" workers were very rude. They advertise that they have a private entrance with a "hotel guests only code" to the beach but that is false. Pineapple Willy's restaurant walkway is attached to the same walkway so anyone walking through the parking lot of Pineapple Willy's has access to the same walkway to the beach without having to use a "code". The whole situation with this hotel made us feel very uneasy and unsafe.

Horrible place a nightmare

The room is really nasty and dirty! furniture are filthy broken and unsafe!!! management and staff are very rude didn’t do anything about anything TV did not work for days. we had a horrible experience it ruined our whole vacation!!

Unit was nothing like what was advertised. Ceiling fans, light fixtures, tv’s did not work. Unable to use. Unable to sit on furniture. Furniture was falling apart or severely stained. Patio furniture was unsafe. Walls were in desperate need of repair and paint. Elevators didn’t work properly. Lock broken on door. Unable to secure room at night. Never ever going back!!! Worst hotel/resort ever !!! Wasn’t ready on time as promised. Had to call maintenance daily! Awful unit

The air conditioner did not work in the unit we were staying in. There were garbage or something very foul in the garbage disposal that had the place wreaking. Had to be moved to another room and the TV didn't work several elevators out terrible experience.

The room was nice but thats all. I paid $70 extra a night for gulf view and did not get that or a refund for the difference. The service was completely terrible. The staff was rude and seemed to be mad. I had to go to the office 3 times, which is 12 minutes away because the room wasn't ready/key lock not working. I finally got my room at 8p.m when check in was at 3. It seemed like I was being an inconvenience to them. I booked through expedia so they blamed it on lack of communication between both companies

Great location. But the place was falling apart, there was mold on our floor and we couldn’t use the dishwasher. Found a pair of gloves in the bathroom which was easy to spot and seemed reckless to leave. Communication was complicated and it was such a hassle to check-in. Overall dissatisfied with the places quality.

Love staying here for vacation the Condo has beautiful views it is super spacious feels like a nice little home for vacation very clean , comfortable beds and spacious restrooms lots of pools to relax.

Excellent location, good onsite parking, multiple pools, clean, and family-friendly. Elevators are functional but slow and sparse for 21 floors of residents. Units are individually owned so some inconsistency between upkeep and quality of units.

We had issues with our stay right at the beginning. #1: We had to go off-site to check in and with the traffic and the fact that only one person was available to check people in for several high rises, check-in time took over 2 hours! #2 When we FINALLY got to our condo, the door was stuck and we couldn't get in. That took another hour to enter into the condo. #3 We were promised free wifi. We did not have wifi, and I called Resort Collections about this and it was never resolved. #4 Two different pairs of shoes were stolen by the beach access boardwalk. #5 The elevators at Laketown Wharf were hot and overcrowded. Average wait time for an elevator was 30 minutes. When we first arrived and had a big cart of luggage, we had to wait about 40 minutes for an elevator with enough space to carry our family and luggage. #6 The hallway outside our condo smelled like urine. I told maintenance about it and it wasnt cleaned up. #7 Our door would not lock from the outside. Maintenance did come to fix this, thankfully. #8 To check out a luggage cart, security holds your driver's license. On the day we were leaving, my husband checked out a cart. When he returned the cart, they COULD NOT FIND HIS DRIVERS LICENSE!!!!! It took over an hour for them to basically give up on the search and say "Sorry for the inconvenience." My husband made them type up a signed letter stating that they lost his driver's license so that he would have something to show on the trip back, if needed.

Beautiful place, but there were issues. Checking in was a nightmare - booked through Travelocity (not direct, which was my fault) but there was a serious lack of communication in how I would need to check in. We had to call 4 different numbers and go to 3 different places before finding the correct address of where we needed to check in. I was told just to download the new app to check in, but they failed to give me the correct information I needed to complete the check in. After trying multiple times and it not working, I had to revisit the check in location and check in there. It was very hectic and stressful. The elevators were awful. For a 21 story building you should have more elevators. There was a private beach access, but I was never given the code to open the door - we met with another group who was given a code, that did not work. There is no shower to wash off on this beach access either. The room it self was nice and clean. The resort overall was okay.

I didn't like that parking was in the north parking garage and they put us on the south side. The south parking garage being off limits. The walk to our room was long. Also, there were lines of people waiting to get in the elevator. Then the elevators had no air conditioner and were slow-basically stopping on every floor. Our condo door wouldn't lock. I called to tell them. They told me they did't know when someone would be there the fix it and no one ever showed up. The internet didn't work. I had to call about that. They never wrote it down for us. When we did get it up it would the wifi would come and go.

We booked through Expedia. I didn’t realize that I had to go somewhere else to get a key to check in. The employees at Laketown Wharf were less difficult and couldn’t provide an address for where we needed to go. Our room wasn’t ready until nearly 5pm, an hour after it was supposed to be ready. Once in the room, the wifi was so weak you could not stream Netflix. No outlets in the kitchen worked. A cabinet door was falling off its hinges. A maintenance man did come to fix the cabinet, AT 11PM, when I was asleep!!! This 20 story building has over 800 units, with 4 functional elevators. You had to give yourself 30 extra minutes to get somewhere just because of the wait for elevators. The area where the building is located is SUPER congested with traffic. It took 30 minutes to get from Wal-mart back to the building. Note the distance was .5miles. This is NOT a place for families.

Lake Town Wharf: Good: Juan Taco restaurant. The large alligator Nice pools Nice gym The Wharf restaurant Bad: Staff closes pools at the very first sight of dark clouds. Entrance to the place is always a traffic jam Elevators: worst I ever seen sometimes the wait is as long as 30 minutes or more. You may not think this is a big deal but trust me it gets old quick. Trash receptacles were always full. Smell of garbage is common especially around the restaurant areas. Stairwell smelled like urine, and yes you will be using these because you cant get and elevator. We went through 3 rooms due to no AC and water dripping all night. Staff was unfriendly Check-in is at 4:30 we didn't get our room until 5:10 pm.
