Pos : Amazing view (room 714), excellent staff, large room, king bed,
Neg : only 2 coffee pods supplied, lack of draws for clothes, Tv remote activates both old TVs.
Sumerise: great staff, large room with views of the Eiffel Tower.
The room was in ok condition and staff worked hard to make my stay comfortable. i was bothered by the construction noise at the next door building and mediocre hotel conditions i general.
Great price for an amazing, central location. Good size room for 3 people and it had a terrace looking across the river to the eiffel tower.
Minor things: hair dryer wasnt working and there was scaffolding on the balcony, but since we only stayed one night it was not a big deal for us.
The location was good and I loved having the little balcony to sit outside in the morning and drink coffee. The electricity was difficult to keep on. The whole room worked by inserting your room key in the keypad by the door. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. Our last morning we just dressed and packed with no electricity. The staff was very friendly.
Everything was good.
Would’ve preferred if the balcony was clean and tidy when we got there. Lots of cigarette butts were on the floor and it wasn’t welcoming.
Also under the bed needs a through clean.
Otherwise everything was great and we had a good time!
Staff was great and welcoming
Thank you!
Property was clean and well taken care of. Had an Eiffel Tower view which was wonderful. Staff were kind and friendly. In a great area - lots of shopping nearby and able to walk to a lot of attractions.
Wonderful place in a stunning location. Very practical but also a great poiny of departure to get the best out of Paris. How to digitally access the apartment is a bit tricky at first but they have a very pedagogical app to make it easy!
Really poor condition hotel in the best area. It is very old. AC makes noise, TV is tiny furniture super old. I don’t think the hotel management cares about customer service coz they are in one of the best locations. What can I say.
AVOD THIS!!
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The staff was absolutely terrible — especially the woman at the front desk, who was rude, unhelpful, and completely emotionless. The room looked nothing like the pictures online. Everything inside was old, broken, and poorly maintained. Even the bathroom door didn’t work properly. It’s shocking that this place calls itself a hotel. I would never stay here again, and I strongly advise others to avoid it.

Never again Hotel Castiglione Paris
The hotel has an imposing outside picture on Hotels.com site but it is not like this at all! Rather quite indiscriminate, unimposing. The hotel boasts of a rooftop access with view of The Eiffel Tower. There is no roof top access! WE have been duped, having changed our original booking from another hotel to this one! Brings in doubt the screening of hotels at Hotels.com!
We didn’t stayed there. We were sent to a different hotel. After 3-5 hours waiting for some fixing in the room we were staying and at the end they could not fix it. Anyway we were sent to the vendome opera.

MY MONEY IS STOLEN
2 major facts. One, my $300 is stolen from my purse. Second, probably the same cleaning lady who stole my money, as we put do not disturb card on the door the day after of the event, we asked for a bottle of water, she said if you don’t have cleaning no water for you lol that’s so pity a hotel in such a luxury location, doesn’t hire the same quality staff.
Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at this hotel and wished we had read some of the other reviews. Our group of 6 (3 room bookings) were separated as the hotel claimed there was an electrical fault and some of the rooms needed to be closed. 4 of us were moved to another hotel which was not as nice (smaller room, problem with door not opening, non-stop flushing toilet). We have since read other reviews and realised this is something this hotel regularly does when they 'overbook'. We met 2 families experiencing the same. We won't be staying here again.
I booked a suite for our family of four, but they placed us in a tiny room with two twin beds. Our teenage son ended up on a poor-quality pull-out bed, and my daughter was essentially sleeping in the hallway on a cot.
All the staff kept saying it was "management's fault," but they couldn't contact management. They provided us with incorrect names, and "Fred"—who was actually "Hassein"—was quite rude and refused to help us. He simply said no and that it happens.
We're from Canada, and we dislike complaining, but when you book and pay in advance, you expect to receive what you paid for. They repeatedly told us we could move to a better room the next day, so we packed everything up, only for them to deny us later and ask, "Who told you that?"
Eric, the so-called manager, refunded us for one night; however, we still had to pay the suite rate for the other two days.
It was a disappointing experience. I'm glad others found enjoyment here, but we will never return. Overall, it was mediocre and subpar.
