Es ist ein kleines Hotel in super Lage. Dass kein Fahrstuhl vorhanden ist, war bekannt. Das Personal war nett. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer, in dem das Mobiliar etwas zusammengewürfelt war, riesiger Tisch, Vitrine ohne Funktion, Kommode, leider nur 1 Sessel. Hier fehlt definitiv eine 2. Sitzgelegenheit, denn man möchte auch mal zu zweit richtig sitzen und nicht auf dem Bett hängen. Das Bett selbst war sehr gut, schön breit und bequem. Leider war direkt daneben die Schiebetür zum Bad. Diese Tür ruiniert jede Ruhe, nachts und am Tag - sie quietscht beim Auf- und Zuschieben fürchterlich. Die Vorhänge hängen mit nicht haltenden Haken an stumpfen Holzringen, die sich auf einer stumpfen Stange nicht ziehen, sondern hin- und herruckeln lassen. Die Vorhänge sind zu schmal für die Fenster. Zimmerreinigung erfolgte auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption, die benutzten Gläser wurden nicht getauscht, es fehlte ein Handtuch. Das Bad mit Fenster zum Zimmer, nachträglich eingebaut, ist ganz witzig. Die Scheibe kann mit einem Vorhang von außen verdeckt werden. Es sind keine Becher und Kosmetiktücher vorhanden, aber ein Fön und sehr gutes Duschgel. Durch die dunklen Holzbalken ist es sehr dunkel im Zimmer und wird durch eine Stehlampe und 2 Nachttischlampen nicht viel heller. Die Badbeleuchtung anzulassen, brachte auch nicht viel. Trotz allem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt, der durch die zentrale Lage und das bequeme Bett punktete. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Localisation extra, chambre très chouette, typique parisienne, accueil souriant et sympa, très bon petit dej, possibilité de laisser ses bagages.... bref très chouette quand on aime le côté un peu authentique!!

Les Degres deux Notre Dame
Les Degres provides old Paris charm. It is a "walk up" for everyone where narrow winding steps (no lift) re the only way up. Consider this is you're not in the best of shape or have large amounts of luggage. Service the first week of January was quite minimal but I has stayed there 20 years ago with fond memories & it delivered again. Its location is hard to beat

The non smoke room I was given smells strong smoke. The staff refused to switch me to another room even after I told him that I was taking medications to stop the allergy it caused me. “Just open the windows,” “the other rooms more expensive,” those are his excuses.

Muito bom
Foi muito bom, sempre estive em comunicação com o hotel e fui bem atendida, até o late check out. A região é excelente, transportes, atrações, tudo muito próximo. Nosso quarto foi o 35 (3° andar), silencioso, apenas qndo havia movimento no corredor vc ouvia alguma coisa. Fique ciente que não possui elevador, não recomendo excesso de malas.

Mal tenu
Emplacement idéal proche Notre Dame et Saint Michel. Établissement avec apparemment un certain cachet raison pour laquelle il a été choisi ainsi que le prix. Malheureusement cet établissement est mal tenu. La chambre était très sale et les peintures écaillées, le mobilier est très fatigué et les équipements défaillants (télé soit disant par câble en panne, lampe rafistolée au scotch, ampoule grillée sur un luminaire. Sommier pas très net. Au-delà de ça, l’annonce proposait de choisir entre chambre double ou chambre twin. J’avais opté pour une twin ne sachant pas lors de ma réservation (3 mois à l’avance) si je serai seule ou pas. Finalement j’étais accompagnée, ce que j’ai signalé par correction à l’hôtel. Mais SURPRISE, en guise de twin la chambre disposait d’un lit double et d’un lit d’appoint très inconfortable (une vraie planche). Enfin dernier point, notre chambre se trouvait au 4ème étage sans ascenseur MAIS l’annonce n’en faisait pas mention. Ma sœur handicapée a eu les pires difficultés à monter ces 4 étages par un escalier très raide et très étroit, problème pour la valise. A notre départ j’ai signalé tout cela à l’hôtelier qui me dit qu’il n’y a pas de twin dans son établissement (ma réservation était donc bidon), que je disposais bien de 2 lits et donc de 3 places et cela sans supplément. Mais ce monsieur s’est montré très commerçant : j’ai eu la satisfaction de payer la taxe de séjour à l’ancien prix.

The location is amazing. Perfect. So close to everything and transportation is right at your door. One block to the Seine. That being said, the room had mold. The bathroom was especially gross. Even if we wanted to complain to management, there was no one at the front desk for days. The WiFi was not available in the room. We had to shave on the stairs or in the hall to use it at all. So that made it difficult to book tours etc. Overall, if they cleaned the mold and paid some attention to the guests, this would be a great place to stay. For us, two nights was barely tolerable. But the location is amazing.

Very good location able to see Notre Dame from our window. Unfortunately it was 108° during our visit and our room did not have refrigerated air conditioning. Staff supplied us with three fans.

The room was very small and quite dirty and the wifi did not work at all on the first night. The bathroom was quite gross and had a horrible smell which spread into the room.

Lovely hotel, centrely located
Very conveniently located, hotel staff was very welcoming and nice. It was the hottest weekend in Paris and the hotel had fan in the room which was a lovely attention.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, and for the price it wasn't bad at all. We were on the 4th floor, and could see Notre Dame only a couple of blocks away out our window. Friendly check-in. Cleanliness was fine - clean bedding, clean towels. No service for our second night (no bed made, no clean towels), so make sure you hang your towels to dry. Bed was reasonably comfortable, and king size which is difficult to find in Paris. Be aware there is no elevator, and the stairs are windy (70 steps to the 4th floor). A bit difficult to navigate carrying even small luggage, as well as after a couple bottles of wine. :)

Location great. Staff was very pleasant, but the receptionist that was there when I was checking out spoke absolutely zero english. Room was nice and fairly clean but it's a real pity that the building is not cared for properly. Could've been so much better... Can't say more because the price was pretty decent.

A 0,5 star room with a 3,5 star bathroom.
The gentleman at the reception was very polite and welcoming, although speaking French only. The single room was very small and very dated, but the bathroom was fully renovated. I would say that this was a great value for money, as it's as central as it gets, if I hadn't found a strange creature walking on my wrist as I was lying on the bed...

It's got a lot of charm! We were on the 3rd floor (ie the fourth) and it's a narrow staircase, so if that's a problem, this place isn't for you. But it was comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Definitely not fancy, but it's in such a great neighbourhood!

Great location, on site staff very friendly and helpful (much more than over the phone), room was great with beams, bathroom roomy compared with other hotels in Paris, situated on a quiet street. Would definitely book there again.

Old hotel, great location
Location doesn't get any better than this. Literally across the river from Notre Dame. Easy walk to multiple metro stops, yet the hotel was quite quiet. Hotel is very old, and worn down. Bedding and towels were clean. You need to walk up narrow stairs to get to rooms. A bit moldy and damp but that is common for an old building. Staff was friendly and helpful, but be warned this is a small operation. We got in around 4, and I had missed an email from them asking when they would be in. It was locked and it took me some time to figure out how to call. Once I got in touch with staff, got in no problem, but this could have been a disaster for someone who didn't have a phone while traveling. I spoke with staff in French, not sure of their English skills.

Good value
The location of this hotel makes up for any shortcomings it may have. For the price, you can’t beat it. As long as you are ok with packing your bags up the narrow staircase of 50 + stairs and lack of tv. It does have all the basics as well as a/c. Mediocre breakfast available for 10 euros each.

Unfortunate Fire Alarm
Room was very spacious and large bed. Lots of stairs to climb as we were on the 4th floor. Only negative is that we had the fire alarm ringing from 130 until 2am, and then again at 7am and 745am, something faulty - no actual fire concern. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep. Hotel attendent very friendly and apologetic. Room was very comfortable.

Não vale o preço que cobra
A pousada é velha demais e precisa de muita manutenção. A recepção funciona apenas das 8h às 20h. Como não há elevador, é extremamente desconfortável subir malas pela escada (pelo preço que cobra tinha de ter no mínimo sempre um funcionário disponível para auxiliar nesta tarefa). O banheiro não possui cortina no box, então molha tudo, além de existir mofo e infiltrações até no teto que, aliás, estava com a pintura descascando. Cama pequena com colchão velho e iluminação pobre do quarto. Meu destaque positivo fica apenas por conta do cordial e simpático atendimento da recepcionista Ioanna, que nos auxiliou com informações e transporte em Paris. Resumindo: é uma espelunca localizada em uma boa região em Paris (perto da Notre Dame), mas nem de longe faz jus ao preço que cobra (lembrando que se quiser café da manhã, tem de pagar à parte, mas eu não arrisquei).

Charming and spacious room and bathroom, Comfy bed lovely staff. Could be updated but that might ruin the charm. My only issue is the stairs very narrow steep and winding, it was an adventure going up and down the stairs daily. The location was amazing you can hear the bells from Notre Dame and the D'Orsay was walking distance away.
