It is close to Gare Montparnasse, and there are restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. There is no elevator, so please be careful if you have heavy luggage. The room I stayed in had two rooms, and it was spacious for Paris, which was nice.

Overall, everything was ok. However, we stayed in the first room, which had a door that needed to be opened every time someone passed through, and it made quite a loud noise each time. Especially early in the morning, even before 7am. Apart from that, everything was fine. The location is nice, and the staff were very polite.
