Wonderful staff and hotel

Amazing hotel, location and staff. Everyone was incredibly nice and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of including champagne, a welcome gift with a handwritten note, umbrellas during a down pour, and so much more. I highly recommend this pace; it’s now one of my favorite places to stay in Europe. It’s also very close to Notre Dame but we walked to many other spots easily.

The hotel was beautiful in a great location near Notre Dame but it is tucked up a quiet street so it is beautifully quiet. The staff were amazing and so knowledgeable- all the rooms have a painting in them and the rooms take a colour from the painting which is used in the decor.

A Paris Gem!

When we arrived we were greeted with a smile, a choice of beverage when we got checked in and that tone was consistent during our 4 nights. The location is amazing, it’s quiet and very charming.

Masion Hotel Colbert was such a wonderful experience to enjoy as we visited Paris! The staff was outstanding & the location was absolutely perfect(2 blocks from Notre Dame & 1 block from the Seine)! Lots of cafes nearby & Hop-on-Hop-Off stop a block walk! Cocktails on the patio was so enjoyable & we had Sunday Brunch in their newly opened cafe (Coltide), which was so delicious & just fantastic with all the chef’s creations! Our room had a partial view of Notre Dame & it was so beautiful! When we return to Paris, we would definitely stay here! They helped us with tickets to several museums & great restaurant suggestions! This hotel is a gem in our opinion & feel so lucky to have chosen it for our trip!

My wife and I spent a week at this hotel in March. It was our first time in Paris and we wanted to stay in the Latin quarter on the advice of a friend who travels to Paris with some regularity. The hotel was absolutely perfect and we loved it. The entire staff was amazing and helpful. We spent some time in the cafe and had a few meals there and really enjoyed the service and the food was very good. The front desk was always available with great suggestions for local restaurants and shops. It’s a 5 minute walk to the c train which will take you directly to the Eiffel Tower and Versailles. We hope to get back to Paris soon and plan to stay here again. Thank you all. Sincerely, The Lees

We visit Paris often and have stayed in lots of different hotels. This was quite special. In the 5th and walkable to anywhere in the 6th and across into the 1st & 2nd arrondissements. It is a renovated hotel with excellent amenities in a quiet street but only minutes away from the Boulevard St Germain. We had two rooms for the family; the bigger one (25 m2) was very comfortable and our 20 yo son was happy in the smaller single room. Beds were great and we slept well.

So we did not get a room upgrade which I would have expected given the price of the stay and the fact that the hotel was not full. Also, the biggest issue I had is the lack of facilities to deal with business. There was no quiet areas to take a call or work other than the very crowed room. Otherwise, great stay.

Property is in a great area. Staff is very friendly and service was good. I bought an expanded room and only had a foot to move between couch/bed and cabinets. Cabinets were cheap pressboard and flaking with water damage and towels were frayed with threads hanging and very thin. Their best days were years ago, but they did have the hotel name on them. Not what you would expect for this price.
