Very friendly staff and excellent location. Our room (room 20) looked directly onto the square with the Christmas markets. We were given prior advice about free parking around 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Great hotel

Very welcoming reception. Helpful advice. Plenty of parking in Grand Place. Very centrally placed so easy walk around city. Steps at entrance Room in the rafters so watch your head Very comfortable.

Excellent location on one of the main squares. Easy to walk everywhere. The hotel is a well known historical building. Ground level rooms are available in the back building, only a couple of steps up to reception. These rooms are extremely quiet. The rom was small but the king sized bed was new and probably the best we had on our entire 6 week trip. The shower and toilet are tiny. The toilet reminded me of an aircraft toilet it was so small. The hotel does have a lift, which is unusual for Arras. Breakfast was fairly basic but high quality, boil your own eggs was fun! Staff are very friendly and helpful, most speak English, much appreciated when my French is very poor! We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful hotel in historic Arras.

We only had one night to stay in Arras as we were with friends who were visiting the war memorial. We found everyone at the hotel extremely helpful and caring. Breakfast was splendid. The hotel itself is full of character and historical interest.

A great well-priced hotel right in the centre of town. It is steps away from many amazing restaurants. The building was constructed in 1497 so don’t expect a big, spacious North American style of room. The staff were very kind to us and we really enjoyed the big continental breakfast.

I cannot say enough good things about the 3 Luppars staff. When my son fell ill, they were extremely understanding and gracious, allowing us a late check out, being solicitous with cold drinks, and looking after our bags so we could explore a bit while we waited for a later train. They made what could have been an awful situation so very much better. Combine that with the outstanding location on the Grand Place, free parking from 1800-0900, and plentiful interesting dining options within a short walk, I highly recommend.

The building is superbly placed in one of the Grand Places, and opposite the Christmas Market. Secondary glazing means that it is very quiet inside, but is located perfectly. Enormous breakfast was served, room was airy. Fabulous bars and restaurants (try L'Epicurien).
