"Rooms were very clean and comfortable! Bathroom a little small. There were shampoos and soaps. There also was a refrigerator which was great! It was quiet. Unfortunately we could not get into the community kitchen to use the microwave because it was locked all day. I went to the desk to find someone to inquire and there was no one there. I went around the corner and saw a man inside another area and inquired and he told me our room key unlocked it. That would have been good information to receive at check-in. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was very good but pricey. I would rather have had a microwave in our room than in the community kitchen which was clean but needs repairs. But all in all, it was a pleasant stay and we slept so sound on those clean comfortable beds!!"

"Overall, really pleased with the stay. Everything was clean and the staff was great. Great location, wonderful view from our third floor room. Only thing that could use improving is the breakfast/coffee availability. No coffee in the room and only in the lobby during breakfast that only runs from 8-10am. We also kept receiving texts to check out the bar but it wasn’t open one night and then closed for a private event the next night. Minor inconveniences for an otherwise wonderful stay."

"Our stay in the resort's Waterfront collection was great! The Junior suite was literally on the water with beautiful views. It's a large room with gas fireplace, jetted tub, separate shower, dual sinks and a comfortable king bed. Nearby Black Bear restaurant on Main St. was a favorite, with only a two minute walk for great food. We didn't have the chance to use their kayaks or paddleboats, but did take advantage of the hot tub and indoor pool in the Lake House for post-hikes recovery. This was the one area clearly in need of renovation. Overall, the High Peaks Resort's Waterfront collection is now one of our top choices to stay in Lake Placid."

"I booked the Premium Queen Suite with balcony and was surprised at how spacious it was. Complete kitchen, separate bedroom with comfortable queen bed, and sunny morning balcony. The staff was friendly, the room and property were clean, and a "grab-n-go" breakfast was available adjacent to the lobby. The Devlin has an interesting Olympic history. The location is great, walking distance to everything. I thought it was a great value and I'd stay again!"

"Amazingly cute little cabin with a stone fireplace. So cozy and welcoming. Small but well defined areas made it very comfortable. Loved personal little touches like handwritten notes on how to work the TV, cleanup and welcome. Amazingly sweet porch with a “Welcome Gnome”, lights and chairs to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. We were there in the rain which added its own charm but in the summer I bet the fire pits are magical. Would definitely love to stay here again and for longer!!!!"
