This is absolutely a five star property experience, and to be frank, anyone who says otherwise is just and idiot. The property is manicured daily by a large group of caretakers, and the staff is constantly smiling at you while greeting you. It is set perfectly on the beach right in front of a biosphere for snorkeling, and very cheap (but great) restaurant extends to the beach as well. Don't give it a second thought, and just book it! You will love it!!!

A heavenly spot, gentle, warm, enough opportunities close by, and enough at the resort, so no need to leave it! Super comfy bed and gorgeous beach side dining!

Really enjoyed my three nights here. Great staff, beautiful location for diving and snorkeling and not overwhelming the way some other Bali spots can be. Good restaurant on site and many other good options within walking distance. Didn't see the fancy rooms, but my studio was very clean and comfortable.

Schöne Pools, toller Garten, malerische balinesische Architektur, Entspannende preiswerte Massagen, lustig: unterschiedliche Tiere in der Anlage. Die Gekkos Eidechsen, die sich nicht nur im Außenbereich sondern auch in den Bungalows befinden, hinterlassen leider überall ihren Kot. Dies verleidet die Nutzung der eigentlich zauberhaften Sitz- und Liegegelegenheiten.

Beautiful bungalows set in lovely tropical gardens. Fab beachfront setting. Lovely pool and excellent spa treatments. Staff friendly and helpful. My only criticism is they keep the garden beautiful but why do they not litter pick the beach and keep it nice too. Its very off putting to be in what is tropical paradise and then see plastic bottles, bags, nappies,general rubbish on the shore. I know it's not the hotels fault, but they really need to address it and litter pick every day. They pick up fallen flowers constantly which are totally inoffensive, but then leave rubbish strewn all over beach. I wouldn't recommend this hotel simply because of this as it is embarrassing. Such a shame as otherwise it is paradise.

This property is beautiful, The property is very well kept. There are mosquitos here and although a net was provided it was in poor repair. I travel with my own so this was not a problem for me but would be for others. I was a bit disappointed in reception as they did not tell us about the amenities and we had to discover things as we went such as restaurant hours, laundry process. We asked to stay a few extra nights and were offered a smaller unit only to see on expedia that there were larger more luxurious units available.. missed opportunity for the upsale as we would have sprung for a bigger unit had we known. Overall, this is a quiet resort in November and it was a lovely stay.. would come again!you can snorkle right off the beach which was a real plus! The beachside service was excellent!

I love this place. It is very peaceful with a great relatively clean beach, pool, great bar, and a pretty good restaurant. If you do want other food the town is a short walk and has some good places to eat and drink. There is also Diving and Snorkeling here and if you like live music there is a place just down the beach called The Reef Scene with music every Sunday.

This charming resort is right on the beach. The snorkeling is superb. The grounds are well-kept and charming. Staff are cordial and very willing to help. The breakfast buffet is delicious and abundant. Great value for money.

The staff were so friendly and the resprt was amazing! It was a perfect week of relaxing. Definitely reccomend the spa for massages!

Rigid and inflexible staff - nice artificial reef
Staff was friendly but very rigid and inflexible. Rice instead of fries - not possible, Creditcard based Cashout - not possible, and so on - very little is possible. Also it looks better on the pictures than in reality!

A truly enjoyable experience, very relaxing, great location, good value and a very attentive staff. We were lucky enough to meet the owner who is very personable and has continued to build on his fathers vision. We had to stay an extra day as we were so comfortable.

Une arnaque sous couvert de belles photos !
Cet hôtel est une arnaque! Certes il est très bien situé, mais tout le reste est négatif. A commencer par un accueil sans chaleur ni charme, une chambre où le mobilier part en morceaux, une salle de bain très sale avec des traces non nettoyées des problèmes gastriques des précédents occupants ! Une literie plus que dépassée et pour finir un restaurant tellement peu qualitatif qu’il fait le bonheur des restaurants tout autour ! A éviter !!! PEMUTERAN a de nombreux autres resorts sur la même plage, ne vous laissez pas avoir comme nous par les belles photos de cet hôtel.

Best place right on the best part of the beach
Taman Sari was just perfect. I stayed in the Studio which is the cheapest room they have and it was really pretty, spacious, with it's own terrace and a pool right in front. I had a safe, a refrigerator with drinks inside (moderately priced) and an electric kettle for tea/coffee. Taman Sari is right where the Biorock coral restoration project is and it's fun to snorkel right there. There is another pool at the beach, and a bar. The Spa is also at the beach and the delightful women who work there stay till 8:00 pm so there was always time to have a treatment or two at the end of the day. (The aloe pack saved my life after a day of snorkeling). I was there the second week on March. When I arrived it had rained very hard and the water was not completely clear, but it quickly became so transparent that I did not even need a mask to see the corals. The beach is sandy and the access to the water is easy, The sea in the days I was there was flat as a lake and I had some memorable swims. The buffet breakfast was huge and the restaurant is at the beach. It was a delight to eat dinner with my feet in the sand and the sound of the waves. Apart from everything else, what made it extra special is how well the place is run. In the morning as soon as I left the room a small army descended on it and cleaned in a very short time. Laundry was returned the same day. In the late afternoon they would come around and place lit mosquito coils on the terraces and in the open bathrooms. Super!

Luxurious Hideaway
We loved Tamin Sari for many reasons ... the luxurious accommodations, the quiet peace of the resort, the food, the warm friendly staff, the pools and beach, the gorgeous landscaping, and more. We had a small villa with an ocean view perfect for relaxing. My husband was recuperating from an illness and this was the perfect place for his rest and recovery. While we had not planned to be dealing with medical issues, we felt being here was so therapeutic. The staff accompanied his needs so well and asked about him daily. We’re coming back next year and will planning to take advantage of all that the resort offers. Highly recommend!

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Taman Sari. De kamers (Deluxe Studio) zijn schoon en comfortabel. Het resort is lekker rustig en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. De keuken is goed en maaltijden zijn prima geprijst. Mocht je iets anders willen, op loopafstand ligt een leuke Warung waar je voor een spotgoedkope prijs kunt eten. Het resort biedt veel activiteiten (de tour naar Mount Ijen en snorkelen bij koraal zijn een aanrader). Taman Sari is een mooie, rustige start als je je vakantie relaxed wilt beginnen.
