This property was set in a rural hillside offering views of the Valpedre valley. Not only is this a sophisticated hotel but the property boasts fantastic facilities for all ages. The staff, especially the Manager André were super friendly and nothing was a bother. André was forever checking in with us to see how we were and if there was anything he could do for us. He also assisted us with some sight seeing expeditions which were great. The hotel was exceptionally clean. The bedroom was left spotlessly clean, and the bed was made every day. I would highly recommend this hotel for its friendliness, cleanliness, value for money and it has a real escape feel. A hidden gem in Penafiel.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. The host went out of his way to make our stay most enjoyable. He called ahead for dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant and had our laundry expedited. The place is a gem.

Amazing views from both the room and the pool deck. Beautifully nestled on a hill with views of the area. Church bells chime while you’re swimming and playing. Amazing staff to tend to all your needs.

Retiro para descansar nos arredores de Penafiel

Excelente Hotel Rural em pequena quinta nos arredores de Penafiel. Edifício muito bem recuperado e com excelentes instalações e comodidades (piscina com uma fantástica vista). Destaque para todos os funcionários com uma enorme simpatia e disponibilidade para os hóspedes. Deixo a sugestão de existir maior flexibilidade nos preços, pois não faz sentido um hotel deste nível ter uma ocupação baixa e não se baixarem os preços.

Emplacement de rêve

Emplacement de rêve, dans les vignes, au calme, à 50 mn de Porto. Lorsqu'on se pose à la piscine qui se situe en hauteur, nous avons une vue magnifique à presque 360°, sur les collines. Personnel aux petits soins, André (je ne sais pas si je l'ai bien orthographié), est une personne charmante qui se préoccupe de ses clients, qui parle un français parfais. La maison que nous occupions est vraiment luxueuse, de beaux matériaux, tout fonctionne correctement, seul petits bémols, la literie, matelas à ressort pas confortable, et manque de luminosité dans le logement. Le soir, en allumant tout, on ne voyait pas grand chose. Mais, ce sont des détails, au regard du standing de cet hôtel. Nous sommes très satisfaits. Si nous revenons dans la région de Pénafiel, il est certain que nous retournerons à l'hotel rural quintas das quintas.

Fabulous Country Inn

This hotel far exceeded expectations. The beautiful, well-appointed, classy facility was located in a gorgeous setting surrounded by vineyards. The parking lot had orange and lime trees at the edge. The manager's enthusiasm about the property and his job was contagious...oh, and don't forget he speaks multiple languages fluently. I hope to have the opportunity to visit this property for a longer stay.
