“My studio had two balconies, one overlooking the Gulf of Argostoli and the other looked over the beautiful swimming pool. The location was wonderful for me, it is basically in arural area with continuous birdsong and butterflies. The location makes it a very relaxing stay. The cleaning was excellent, Marianne kept my studio sparkling and she is the smiliest person. She also helped me to use the washing machine which was all in Greek. However, family tragedies dictated that we needed to escape and be “looked after” in order to de-stress, rest and recharge our batteries after six weeks of heartache. “No one at front desk—a man arrived but did not speak English; we thought he was a guest but he called someone on his cell phone and handed it to me—a woman spoke with me briefly and then the man showed us to our room. Old refrigerator; door did not close, freezer was full of frost. Very few patrons; good because cheap hollow core doors shut very loudly and marble floors very noisy. We could hear two people arguing on higher floor. 3 min walk to nice beach with an attendant bringing drinks. ...
