"I had the room at the front of the building. The room was spacious, with two huge windows, so plenty of light. The view is good at eye level and above. It was well decorated and pleasant. On the down side, it overlooks the main road so is rather noisy. During the day, it's a continuous drone, so it fades into the background. At night, earplugs! These are kindly provided. Be aware, the other rooms face onto a wall."

It feels like a quiet oasis while still being conveniently close to restaurants, shops, and Nang Thong Beach. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, making the experience even more enjoyable. The swimming pools were clean and inviting, providing the perfect place to unwind after a leisurely walk on the beach or exploring the local area. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh food, giving you a great start to each day. This hotel is especially ideal for travelers seeking a true rest vacation. If your goal is to slow down, disconnect from everyday stress, sleep well, enjoy peaceful surroundings, relax by the pool, take beach walks, or treat yourself to a traditional Thai massage, this is an excellent choice. "First time in Thailand, and this was perfect for me and my son. After a long tired travel we arrived to be greeted with a cold towel, a fresh scoop of ice cream and the kindest people. The staff is truly amazing and this property is very impressive. It is HUGE and there’s an infinity pool that goes all the way around. Just a few steps from the Andaman sea, swim up bars, excellent food, 24 hour room service, daily maid service, wildlife, and massages all at the fingertips. Id need more space to write about the flora- because it is EXQUISITE. Coconuts, frangiapani, lotus in the ponds. True tropical paradise with all the comfort of home and then some. Rent a bike. Play pool. Go swim. Take a cab to the night market. Meet the local monitor lizard. Paradise."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Merlin - in fact we are still here as we extended our stay with the hotel because we decided we didn’t need to go anywhere else for a truly magical and relaxing stay. We feel immersed in nature - surrounded by incredibly beautiful trees and we saw a slow loris during our night tour! The pools are so lush with vegetation all around them - we spent hours just milling around in what felt like a jungle pool, complete with waterfalls! The staff are all so lovely and super attentive, but with the most relaxed and easy going manner. I found myself quite envious of the people who work here - they honestly seem to be very happy in their work and well looked after. We didn’t go all inclusive and slightly regret that, as it wasn’t a lot more on top and means that, even if you only eat here half the time, it will probably be worth it. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back! Thank you so much everyone at Merlin - we will see you again as soon as possible! 😊"
