I recently stayed at the Galaxie while in town for OSU graduation. This is not typically where I stay when I come to town, however, due to the high demand of lodging, Galaxie was our option. I was pleasantly surprised at the well kept grounds upon arrival and clean, updated room. Cleaning services were friendly and accommodating.

It was fairly clean, people were nice. My problem was the pictures in the are not a true reflection of the place. It smelled of cigarettes and cheap air freshener. The place is extremely old and on the funky side. I won't stay there again. I felt I had been miss lead on what I paid for.

It's an older property that's kept in great condition for a reasonable price. Its right on the main road making it easy to find and.access. The traffic dies down at night and I found it easy to get sleep. There's plenty of places to get food nearby many within walking distance.

The hotel was extremely clean in a very quiet and peaceful area. It exceeded my expectations because the images show that it’s an older motel and given that we booked it as a last resort, worked out perfectly! I noticed that the exterior is well kept with beautiful flowers and no dust or cobwebs in sight. We’d gladly stay there again.

Hotel is very dated but there has been effort to update. Room was clean enough. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.
