Great place to stay

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and great food. The hotel is convenient to visit the Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat which has one of the most beautiful Buddhas. The mall attached is a great place to grab supplies or clothes.

On walking distance from either bus terminal 1 or the train station, this hotel is a good option. Hotel is a bit dated, but rooms were clean. Staff didn't speak English very well, but what else to expect out of the touristy areas.overall enjoyed my stay here.

There is no planet where this is a 4 star hotel. Very old and dated hotel. Only gave it to stars and it was at least clean and the bed was comfortable. Using the shower caused a flood in the bathroom due to the water collecting on the tub ledge which was then directed on the floor and then very unsafe and slippery. The safe for valuables was a metal receptacle with no locking device. The bar was a fridge with nothing in it except water so I grabbed a couple in the night. I was asked then if I took any thing from “the bar” and was surprised to be charged 50 baht for the water. There is a lounge/ restaurant which served poor quality drinks so don’t bother with cocktails . I ordered a strip loin med rare which quite tough and not good flavour and salmon steak my partner had was just okay. Thai food here we had for brunch was pretty good though. There is a live band in the lounge which was laughably bad complete with a very noticeable out of tune piano

Shabby chic charm let down by suspicious minds

The hotel has its shabby chic charm, obviously maintained, quiet, peaceful and comfortable, however pubic hair from a previous guest in my room’s bathroom was a bit disappointing, as the house cleaning staff seemed very keen. Also checking out was a bit awkward and laborious, owing to suspicious front house staff insisting on a room inspection, probably checking to make sure I haven’t pinched the pubic hair

Det är ett lite slitet hotell men helt ok standard. Dock inget bra värde för pengarna. Det råder en företagskultur där personalen är livrädda att göra fel och då i stället inte gör något. Personalen är vänlig och tillmötesgående men får/törs inte fatta några beslut utan att fråga högre upp. Irriterande o otidsenligt

Bra hotell med tanke på priset

Hotellet hade mått bra av en riktig renovering, men med tanke på att det är relativt billigt att bo här är det ändå ett skäligt boende. Jag tycker att Topland är toppen pga sitt läge i stan. Trevlig personal. Jag återkommer säkert.

Das Hotel hat mir gut gefallen. Es war sauber, Service top und freundlich. Beim Thema Sicherheit bin ich nicht ganz zufrieden gewesen. Ich wurde nachts in der Eingangshalle von einem Gast mit Motorradhelm übelst beschimpft. Er hatte seine weibliche Begleiterin geschlagen und ich habe ihn lediglich aufgefordert das zu unterlassen. Ein älterer Mitarbeiter versuchte eine Beruhigung, aber der junge "Schlägertyp" beschimpfte mich weiter. Vielleicht nachts bisschen mehr Sicherheit durch jüngere Mitarbeiter. Die Dame hinter dem Empfang verhielt sich außergewöhnlich zurückhaltend.
