The resort was very clean and the children’s pool was good. The staff were very kind towards my kids. The breakfast options were great. The walk to Karon beach is just 2 min from the resort. Please note that this is not a 4/5 star property, but a well maintained old resort.

Our stay at Phuket Orchid Resort and Spa was enjoyable. The pools and water slides were a massive hit with our 3 teenagers. The rooms were spacious and clean and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good with a great selection of food to be had. Only issue was if you get there after 9am expect a lot of other people and a struggle to get a table if you have a large group. Check in took a long time as there were a few people checking in at the same time, but the staff on the front reception were trying the best to get everyone through. The coffee shop is a great hit and we purchased coffee from there everyday. Absolutely fantastic coffee. The location of the resort is fantastic with many restaurants within walking distance or a quick tuk-tuk ride to get down the main street. If you have a family and are looking for somewhere to stay in Phuket were the children will be occupied I would recommend Phuket Orchid Resort.

Excellent pool area for kids! The Buddha head swim-up bar was a highlight. Very convenient for the beach and a huge variety of restaurants close by. The rooms and breakfast were fine. Overall, brilliant stay for families.

Fun family friendly hotel

This is a great hotel with waterslides for the kids. Makes having easy days in the pool so much easier for parents. It's an easy walk to the beach. Just a few minutes away and in a great location overall. We enjoyed our stay and will come back

If you're up for a poolside stay at a resort and not much else, this place is great. Great pools and slides! However, it seems to be the place where package holidays include for their accommodation option. Guests are quite rude and obnoxious, especially to staff. I wouldn't be returning to this hotel unfortunately.

The property is exactly as advertised. It is not fancy but meets all your needs. The pool, water slides and access to the beach are all great. The surrounding area has plenty of dining, shops, 7/11 and massage. For the bigger adventure 200 baht for taxi to other end of Karon ( lot more shop, markets etc) or 400 baht to Patong.

Our stay was great, friendly staff and a lovely resort. Thexresort is a bit tired and needs a refresh but all still functional. The housecleaning staff sometimes forgot rmto replace consumables such as tea, coffee, milk and toilet paper. The bars and staff were great but the cocktail list needs to be rotated, after a few days they git a bit boring. The location is in the quieter end but tuk tuks are always available or everything is a nice walk away.

It's fairly old but well maintained. The kids loved the waterslides and breakfast was nice. Staff were excellent. The taxi bloke out the front in the white Isuzu mux was an absolute legend, spoke great english and knows Phuket extremely well.
