Probably the best place to stay in Lujan, which is a nice little town, with some interesting, if mostly modest, sights, close to Buenos Aires. I stayed two nights in Lujan for the total solar eclipse. Unfortunately, clouds obscured the key moments -- but still, I enjoyed my time there. My room was large and comfortable. GREAT view from the little balcony of the Basilica and main square. Strong WiFi. Middling breakfast. Not everything in the room was perfect (like a stain on the couch) but overall very pleasant.

Hotel bello por dentro, deteriorado por fuera.

Emplazado a metros de la Basílica, con excelente ubicación, es un hotel de estructura antigua (muy deteriorada por fuera, faltan tareas de mantenimiento) remodelado por dentro con detalles de confort y buen gusto. A destacar la amable atención y excelente predisposición del personal del lobby en todo momento. La habitación en que nos hospedamos (ejecutiva) era amplia y elegante, tenía una cama king muy cómoda con blanquería de calidad. El baño está a nuevo, linda grifería, buena presión de agua y excelente limpieza en general. Notamos algunos detalles que requieren mantenimiento como pintura de zócalos (roídos por humedad presumiblemente) y algunos toldos descosidos. El desayuno es muy completo y está bien servido y atendido. Nuestra estadía fue muy buena en general, no obstante lo cual señalamos dos puntos negativos a corregir para mejorar la experiencia de los huéspedes: 1. No posee estacionamiento. El hotel podría conseguir un permiso municipal para que los huéspedes estacionen en la rotonda frente al hotel, o realizar algún convenio con un estacionamiento cercano. La zona de alrededores no resulta suficientemente segura para dejarlo en la calle. 2. La enorme contra de su buena ubicación: la zona es muy ruidosa (circulación continua de motos y vehículos), lo que impide el descanso nocturno. Si bien es una circunstancia ajena al hotel, podrían mejorarlo realizando tareas de insonorización de ventanales colocando doble vidrio y aislantes.
