Beautiful room, great restaurant, but no sir conditioning when it was 30C! Tried to sleep with windows open but kept awake by traffic and dog barking. With AC I would have given 5 star rating.

Ok for one night in transit

The property was in a great location. Built in 1901 it was very atmospheric but as a listed building, modernising it must be a challenge. Very clean, fixtures and fittings old fashioned in keeping with the property. Plumbing dreadful. Shower pressure awful and air con insufficient so it was an uncomfortable night. Breakfast poor.

Decent hotel but seems like going 30 years back in time, should be modernized. We had the family suite, but it was lacking equipment like night lights, armchair etc. Very basic,a bit disappointing for a stop called 4 star hotel

If you don‘t get what you have paid for .. Beacause the room card we got didn‘t always work, we asked for a second one: didn‘t work at all. The third one (instead of the second): didn‘t work. The 4th didn‘t work. AC in the room: didn‘t work. Large SPA, but Both saunas were broken, the Whirlpool empty and didn‘t work Both Kneipp basins (for warm and cold water) you couldn‘t fill, because the lids were missing …. On top the personel was more interested in their own mobile than helping. In total: the hotel of broken things, and not a 4star hotel. They better get these things fixed fast or habe to be considered a 2star hotel and should ask half the price we have paid

Room was clean, staff friendly, and breakfast very good. Excellent location. Parking on site was a plus. There was no AC (despite their claim). Basic items such as glasses in the room, or a pot to make tea/coffee, were lacking. Furniture and carpet were (well) past their prime. This was disappointing for a 4 star hotel.

Hi Hotel.com I'm Tamara Shir Zagury I'm at Romania now. Tomorrow I'll go to Zagreb I already have 8 stamps, and 3 pendants. 1 to night at Pitasti Romania, hotel Victorya. And to the next 2 nights at Zagreb Croatia. That, I understood after 9 nights I'll need to get 1 night free. How can I see this? Because at my credit card, it's already paid... Tks Tamara Shir Zagury

This property was a nightmare. All week the temperature in Pitesti was in the 30 degrees Celsius. The air conditioning never work. Complain every day and was told that it would be ok later on the day which it never was. Found out by one of the employee that the chiller was broken and that the owner did not see the necessity to replace it. The whole building is in an awful state and needs maintenance. The owner scream at us and told us that we came with expedia which is a company that will not pay a fair price for the room and that we should be grateful he let us in. Sometimes, after waiting for a long time, we would get warm water but with a varying pressure every minutes. The maid took off the shower curtain for washing but forgot to replace it. Finally had enough of this and after 8 nights, we moved to a different hotel, in spite of having paid for 10 nights. This Victoria Hotel should be avoided because it is in an awful state. They claim to be a 4 stars but they must have stolen at least 2. The hotel we move in for 2 days was very nice (Arges Hotel) and everything was working as it should. Will in the future avoid Victoria Hotel. It is on my black list.
