Probably one of the coolest places I have ever stayed. It was very clean and nice. Would definitely recommend as well as stay there again.

Small property, very nice clean rooms, nice decor, comfortable beds. Feels like home. Staff very friendly and helpful. One of the nicest places ever stayed. :)

The room was somewhat small, but very clean. It was a nice quiet place to stay. You will not find a friendlier or more accommodating staff. The rate was excellent and I will stay there again on my next trip to Pittsfield.

This is a hidden gem. The property is well maintained, with little homey touches that make the place more comfortable and pleasant. My wife and I travel a lot, and we have stayed in some of the nicest properties out there, and this rivals some of the best.

I have traveled rather extensively for many years and this is the smallest hotel I have stayed in. That said, it is also one of the best kept, friendly and unique that I have stayed in as well. Very friendly staff and very tidy property. I rate this little hotel very highly and recommend as well. Too bad there is no pool.

Just the ticket!
This is a perfect place for a clean, beautifully kept bed and bath. Although no full breakfast is offered, there is oatmeal, coffee, and tea included, and other items for purchase, such as frozen breakfast items and other snacks. This is a great find.

Great find in a small town
This was a late, last minute booking and the owner was very accommodating. Our room was spacious and pristine, same with the bathroom. Everything was up to date and worked well. We especially appreciated the little breakfast/snack room. The only downside was we did not find a thermostat in our room. My husband slept fine, but I found it a little warm. The vents do open and close though, so I realized in the morning I could have just shut ours, but that was the only downside. Do not let that prevent you from staying. Great place!

Thank you! We would love to provide individual heating and AC for each room, but being such a small business, it just hasn't fit our budget yet. However never hesitate to call us in the future, We can control the thermostat remotely so warmer or cooler is just a call away! Thanks for your suggestion, and know that I completely agree and am working towards it!

Can't beat it for the price
We saw a few options for this very low price range, and I do not think this location can be beat for the price. It was clean (except for a little dust), and everything seemed to be in good repair. We liked that it is not in the main business district, although it is nearby and very easy to find. The street is very quiet and with only 6 rooms and the outside entrance secured overnight (guests have a key), we had a very quiet stay. The room was small, but adequate. The bed was VERY comfortable. If I need a room in this area again I would not hesitate to return here.

Hi There, Sorry you had a bad experience someplace! You should try actually staying here at Monroe Street Suites. All of our rooms are clean, Although we none of the rooms have bathtubs, You will enjoy our beautiful walk in showers. And sorry to say we don't have a pool either, but wouldn't that be nice !

Great place to stay for the price.
Very nice place to stay especially for the price. I only marked it down 1 spot because it was very warm in the room. we opened the window which cooled it down nicely. Will be staying there again!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Springtime in Illinois is always so hard to judge with the thermostat. I would love to have individual thermostats in the rooms, but it just doesn't fit our budget, yet. However we can control the temperature remotely so never hesitate to call us, your comfort is our goal!

Charming and beautiful
Perfectly cozy hotel. Only six rooms total and for 2 of the 3 nights my party were the only occupants. All of the benefits of a bed and breakfast without having to wake up early and eat with strangers. The proprietor was prompt with all service requests and was incredibly nice and accommodating. Between staying here and eating at Nucci's, I might make Pittsfield a yearly vacation spot.
