"We are pleased with this hotel. Very clean and their staff was excellent."

"Julien balcony , our view was of street with roadworks but this was not the fault of position or hotel it was simply essential works. Room was clean and the staff we met at front desk were very accommodating and professional, A continental type breakfast was in the price which was plentiful and lots of choice too with coffee freshly made coffee with a choice of coffees like any coffee chain offers or a large choice of teas which you can have in a pot if wish and again staff were helpful . We had one night stay and beds were comfortable too. Would stay again. Very near local police station and lots of bars restaurants and 9 minute stroll to Fuengirola train station which is a straight walk or 2/3 minute cab ride from the train station so probably about 5 euros if you have heavy bags or too many. Room was a basic two bed and a nice en suite bathroom so for the price we felt it was well worth it "

"A good short stay. Lovely 1 bedroom apartmeht, however it was situated overlooking a road, which can be noisy at times. Also our apartment was close to ongoing renovations, so again, noisy at times plus dusty. "

"We arrived at the check in desk at about 12.30 and we were advised that our room wouldn’t be ready until 4pm. This would be understandable in season but the resort was deserted so I don’t believe our room was still being cleaned up until 4pm when we were eventually allowed in. The apartment was very clean but there was a step ladder, a large dustpan and brush as well as an ironing board in the corner of the bathroom which made it look like a store cupboard. These would have been best placed out of site in a separate storage area. The kitchen had everything you would need to make food, and the cleaning supplies were a nice touch. The only criticism would be that a draining rack/board of some description would have been useful as there was no where to put the washing up so we had to put it on the only tea towel that was provided in order to dry everything. One thing that you would need to be aware of is that the resort is very remote and there isn’t a beach close by. There is a very busy dual carriage way as you leave the resort with no shops within walking distance. There are a couple of shops on site but they are very pricey. All in all it’s a great place to use as a base if you have a car and want to travel around the area. We drove to a large shopping mall just outside Malaga, Plaza Mayor where you can park for free and then there is a train station where you can take the train for €4 into Malaga. This takes 15 and is much easier and cheaper that trying to drive. "

"No pool available, taped off like a crime scene. A poor 4 star hotel, seriously in need of refurbishment, staff appear stressed, no continuation of information from one shift to another. However, this hotel is functional as a stopgap, not a holiday destination."
