We were hoping to pack some sandwiches from the grocery store before our hike along the Skyline trail, but there wasn't anyplace to do that. The beach is scenic but rocky. The Rusty Anchor was nice for dinner.

"Typical 50's style motel. Well maintained room. We had a good breakfast in their restaurant and the staff couldn't have been more friendly or more helpful. This was our 2nd stay, we were there in 2023 as well and if we're ever in the area we'll stay there again."

Most remote area on Cape Breton for overnight stays or restaurants. Very small. Just the nature of being so far north on the Cabot Trail.
