Very clean, beautifully appointed spacious room with a comfortable, large bed. Our host was very kind and helpful and provided a lovely breakfast. We hope to return and explore the area more fully.

Had an excellent time at La Tillaie! Beautiful, large, comfortable rooms and a very welcoming host. Olivier went out of his way to look after us and even cooked an early dinner for our toddler every evening. Merci pour tout !

French charm away from the city

A lovely, hidden gem! A beautifully renovated old house with a lovely enclosed walled garden/courtyard which is delightful to relax in over a bottle of wine or breakfast. Very well looked after and everything of a high standard. Olivier very attentive. Family run with the extra care that often shows. Would happily return.

The gentleman of the house could not be more gracious. His English is superb ( my French is nonexistent ) so he was able to help me make plans for all my area touring. Located about .5 hour from towns,beachs, parks.... There is onsite parking. The property was completely renovated 2016 and I mean everything. King room is spacious by any standard with a beautifully appointed bathroom and separate dressing room.Outdoor space has options for shade, sun, lounge. Picnic pack, spa, sauna, and dinner avail. Only regret is leaving after only 3 nights

Tout était parfait

Nous avons séjourné une nuit et avons vraiment apprécié les lieux. La résidence a beaucoup de cachet et les chambres sont décorées avec goût. Propreté impeccable et le propriétaire est vraiment chaleureux (je ne sais pas si le tutoiement est de mise avec tous ses clients, mais cela contribue à s’y sentir davantage à son aise 🙂). Le dîner était aussi excellent et copieux avec des ingrédients simples. Idéal pour déconnecter et se retrouver en amoureux.

Une belle adresse !

La maison est très agréable, rénovée avec gout. La chambre, au 2ème étage est très spacieuse, refaite à neuf, d'un propreté impeccable. Mais les secrets de la Tillaie sont ailleurs : l'accueil d'Olivier, qui nous met tout de suite à l'aise et qui sera aux petites soins pendant les 2 soirées que nous passerons sur place dans ce jardin si agréable. Et la table d'hôte ! Une cuisine familiale, de produits frais, très bien travaillés avec un parfait équilibre des saveurs. Nous avions diné sur place par commodité le 1er soir... et avons, sans hésiter, réservé pour le second. Le petit déjeuner "continental" assez classique est aussi très agréable quand le temps permet de la prendre au jardin. Tout cela sans oublié le spa et la sauna. Une belle adresse et une belle rencontre !

Liegt in einem ruhigen Ortschaft. Hausherr war sehr nett. Er wohnt auch direkt Nebenan. Sehr schöne Gartenanlage mit Hund und Katz. Was uns dennoch sehr gestört hat war, dass der Hausherr beim Frühstück einfach neben uns, unsere Jausentasche aufgemacht und reingeschaut hat. Wir hatten für die Kinder eine Jause für den Vormittag vom Frühstück eingepackt. Aufenthalt war dennoch sehr angenehm. Frühstück war ausreichend. Der Hausherr hatte sogar Tipps für Ausflüge.

Superbe maison rénovée avec gout, notre chambre charmante d'un style mi traditionnel mi moderne, un hôte tres accueillant, un bon ptit dej avec confitures et yaourts maison, un cadre reposant et calme, le plus un jacuzzi!! bref très bon rapport qualité prix, allez y les yeux fermés (un peu ouverts quand même pour ne pas tomber dans la rivière :)
