Ignore the surrounding area, when you step in side the whole place becomes an experience. The quality of the decor, the furniture, the layout is just amazing. The family staff make you really welcome, everywhere is spotless and clean.

Great location, stunning pool and great hosts

Really nice hotel and in a great location just 45 mins from Calais. The room was great and overlooked fields and had a really nice balcony. Dinner was great and the wine choices were good too. The pool was amazing, just what was needed after a long drive. Everything was extremely clean and very well looked after. Lovely stay

Hotel Callecanes 5*

What an amazing family run hotel, we highly recommend this hotel if visiting the area. The staff/owners were so helpful and friendly. The room was tastefully decorated and had every amenity you could wish for. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It has a great restaurant serving wonderful food and an extensive wine list. We will definitely stay here again.

Fabulous hotel

We stayed at this hotel on the last night of our week long trip to France/Belgium. We primarily chose it for it's location to both Poperinge and Ypres but also distance to Calais. We could not fault this hotel at all. The family who run the hotel were really friendly, the bed comfortable, breakfast was great and the food in the restaurant was delicious. We did not use the pool or sauna only because we did not pack any swimwear but it looked lovely. From the outside when you park up this hotel gives an impression of being ordinary but once you step through the door the hotel is anything but ordinary. The decor and layout are lovely. If you are looking for a lovely place to relax, have a good nights sleep and great food in lovely surroundings then I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great stay

This hotel has friendly staff and dogs. A good breakfast is served, swimming pool is in outstanding condition and there is a small gym to get some work in. Overall good place to be at.

Fabulous!

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From start to finish the experience was amazing. The staff were warm, friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was top notch, gorgeous luxurious bedding, huge comfy bed

Family run hotel, makes you feel welcome

Really nice friendly family run hotel. we stayed for two nights on a bike trip to watch TdF. Bikes stored in underground locked car park and locked away, which was great. We ate in first evening and food was superb, breakfast buffet was good and plentiful, bread was awesome. Rooms had great views over the farm land, clean/smart and comfortable. Has a pool and nice garden area, as well as a roof terrace. The family where very helpful and made you feel welcome. The hotel was bigger than we had imagined but is in super condition. parking is ample and we will go back in September.

An overnight stay

Lovely place but found it slightly difficult to find. Wasn’t aware it was near a main road but didn’t really matter. Very clean. Only issue was the room was too hot. Window opened but didn’t cool it down. Really could do with AC or at least a fan. Difficult to park as a cycling team had taken over everywhere outside! Breakfast wasn’t bad and the owner was very friendly.

Belle piscine

Le plus de cet hôtel est la belle piscine et son sauna. Hôtel perdu au milieu des champs de maïs et de betteraves, idéal pour ceux qui aiment le calme et la nature. Voiture indispensable, la ville de Poperinge est à 10 km. La ville et son musée du houblon méritent une visite. La frontière française est à quelques pas, avec tout le charme des villes et villages des Flandres.

Deux nuit à Callecanes

Nous avons passé deux nuits à Callecanes, lieu-dit éponyme sur la commune de poperinghe, en Belgique, limitrophe de la France. L'hôtel situé dans une zone d'activité ne paie pas de mine vu de l'exterieur: on a l'impression d'une construction en plusieurs phases, un peu hétéroclite. Ce qui rend la circulation à l'intérieur un chouia labyrinthique. Mais quel confort! L'établissement est doté d'installations ultramodernes. Design épuré et dans la veine regionale (briques apparentes ...). Il comporte des installations de détente (piscine, fitness) au top. On ne peut que recommander.
