The room was good, just my blind was broken and let light in. I asked for a replacement but there were no blinds available so I had to cover them with a sheet.
If you want a nice quiet place to stay with yummy food an the friendliest staff that are happy to help in any stay here.
Rooms a great.
Supermarket next door mummas market across from the road.
Catch buses outside or staff can arrange a taxi for u
Absolutely an incredible stay. I stayed in one of their waterfront villas, and it was amazing! Great shower, a jacuzzi, kitchen, even a washer and dryer! All in all the best place to stay in Port Vila
The room was good, clean and quiet. The reception service was also good and friendly. Only the restaurant was below average, the quality of food and service can be improved.
This place is amazing if you want a nice quiet spot out of town. Plenty of buses go past to catch into town. Grocery store next door an a mama fruit an veggie stall across the road. Staff are awesome help you with all your questions.

Nice rooms and good outlook. Pool area needs some work. No a single sun lounger available by the pool or beach area which was a huge let down.
Cannot fault the staff, they’re all absolutely lovely. The actual villa was horrible and run down. Lack of cooling downstairs, the kids bedroom had a fan with no blades. Furniture stained, missing cupboard doors. No mention they were commencing loud works, early am’s, on a new centre right by the pool. Missing palings on the jetty. Very run down. We stayed one night and moved to a resort 2 minutes away. Unable to get my 3k back, which was a lot for only for a few nights, and that was with 1k discount for last minute deal.

A Relaxing Stay in a Beautiful Setting
We recently spent a week at Cocomo Resort in Port Vila and had a truly enjoyable experience. The resort's location is excellent—peaceful yet conveniently close to town—and our villa overlooking the lagoon was absolutely delightful. It offered the perfect mix of privacy and comfort, with beautiful views and a tranquil atmosphere.
The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. They went out of their way to accommodate any requests we had regarding our room, and we really appreciated their attentiveness and warm hospitality. Our young son especially loved the pool area and had a fantastic time playing with the toys and games available—something that made our stay even more enjoyable.
We are aware that the resort, like much of the region, was recently affected by an earthquake. Given this, we fully understand the ongoing renovation work and some of the minor inconveniences that came with it. It's clear that the hotel is in the process of being refreshed, and we can see the potential for it to be even more beautiful once these improvements are completed. The efforts made by the staff during this transitional time were commendable, and we want to sincerely thank them for their dedication and kindness.
All in all, we had a lovely stay at Cocomo Resort and felt very well looked after. We would gladly return in the future and look forward to seeing the resort once the renovations are complete.

We had the deluded waterfront villa. It was really lovely, sitting in the deck overlooking water was just beautiful, we could see starfish and sea cucumbers in the crystal clear water of the lagoon. Only downside was no signal for TV, maintenance changed the TV as everything was in Chinese, but still no signal. Only a minor hiccup as we were on holiday, not there to watch TV. Fully self co tai ed with washing Mach and dryer, instructions again in Chinese but I worked it out. Air conditioner worked perfectly, and the spa batch was lovely and relaxing.
Rosie on front desk was very helpful and friendly like all the staff in the restaurant etc. breakfast daily included was a bonus and looked forward to it each mornjng.
Another bonus supermarket right next door selling everything including wine and beer.
We loved staying there as on reading some of the reviews we were feeling a bit reluctant to stay there, but on our own experience we highly recommend staying here, and for the price we paid it was very reasonable.
Staff were lovely. The resort is run down and nothing like what was advertised. No TVs worked, no bathrobes, no beach, spa was unusable, toiletries, bottled water, tea and coffee was not restocked, bins not emptied, ant trails and cockroaches, loud music and yelling from across the lagoon, holes in walls with wires hanging out, broken or missing light bulbs and major plumbing problems. The toilet backed up through the shower drain, no maintenance man available. Two days later our villa was flooded with raw sewage. Belongings that were not soak in sewage smelt like sewage. Chinese man, Alex, was just going to mop the floors. We were eventually moved, twice, first villa had cockroaches in the fridge and same plumbing problems, second move was to a mould apartment with an unusable shower. We slept in the clothes we were wearing as our belongings were scattered between three villas and the resort laundry. Management was unsympathetic and unhelpful and we were offered a free meal. Our belongings were washed and given a full refund after constant complaining. The swipe cards also opened other apartments. Four rooms was the most we seen occupied at any one time. Why can this resort advertise what they are not offering? Going through previous reviews it has been like this for quiet awhile. Shame on the booking agents.
The staff are simply beautiful. All amenities are reflected accordingly in their description. New cabins being built which will be exciting for people travelling there shortly. Chef John is awesome! You MUST have his croissants for breakfast. Make sure to pat ‘Lucky’ the cat, he is adorable
Our stay at Cocomo was really good, the staff and management went completely out of their way to help us however they could. I can't recommend This resort enough in terms of friendlyness, cleanliness and awesome location.
we had a 7-night stay in a large villa with beautiful water views, breakfast has a limited choice, it's sad the lagoon is polluted and not suitable for swimming, overall, a relaxing stay
The place is really beautiful! We stayed in the waterfront villa for 5 nights and it was simply perfect! The staff is very friendly and helpful, always smiling and kind! The restaurant is really cool and the food is tasty! Would totally come back another time for sure!
Lovely room with all modern amenities. Exceptional and friendly service, especially from Felix and Christina. Safe and quiet. Location is on lagoon, don't stay right in Vila stay out here 5mins drive instead. Run and owned by Ni-Van people so you're supporting locals. Not far off being comparable to the uber expensive Havannah and the service is as good.

It is starting to get a bit run down from lack of maintenance .
Everything was exceptional, only thing that I found odd was the restaurant service. Baby chair would be left unclean from the night before. Had to ask
Multiple times to get something to drink with my meal. We ended up finishing our meals and still had to wait for our drinks.
We stayed here for 7 nights. It is a beautiful property, very easy to relax and be in nature. Staff were helpful and friendly. Conveniently located next to groceries, fresh produce market and bus stops.
Daily housekeeping seemed to be by request only. The rooms we stayed in both had issues (missing amenities or appliances in disrepair) but we would likely come again. If you have issues, raise them with Ros and she will get onto it.
The pool was a winner for our kids. Recommend the vegetable frittata and banana pancakes for breakfast!
The resort has been sold since the Covid pandemic. The new owners live in Hong Kong and appear to have delegated management to the people who own a supermarket chain. The lack of competent and experienced on-site management means that service is sometimes slow and disorganised. The owners must address this situation urgently to ensure acceptable standards are maintained.
