Impressive property with fantastic views and location!

Listen, they are not going to be around a lot. No one at the desk when you arrive and not throughout the night. Its more a bed and breakfast. Front door is loud, you hear it when you sleep and other guests come and go. Those are the draw backs The staff, Anna especially is lovely. They did their best with redoing the place and conveniently located. Is it the best experience ever? No. But clean safe and close to beach and good breakfast

Very comfortable hotel with beautiful manicured grounds. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast buffet was superb. Only problem was a lack of local restaurants in easy walking distance, encouraging visitors to visit the resort restaurants which were mediocre and expensive.

We stayed a quick 3 days and had a blast. Everyone was super friendly and inviting, breakfast was awesome, quick walk to the beach and a number of great restaurants, plus we were super excited for one of the better small hotel gyms we've been in - if your hotel has barbells and weights over 20kg, they're doing something right :) We'll certainly be recommending Lagos Atlantic to others and will hopefully be back in the future for more than just a few days!

What a gem this place ended up being. Owner and his son were super welcoming and even had their dog laying around. Room was very large, and the scenic view from our room was incredible. The beach attached to the back of the property was a bit difficult to get down to, but that didn’t stop us from climbing down there to get the full experience. Walking around the property to the adjoining beaches was also super enjoyable. No complaints whatsoever, would stay here 10/10 times we come back to...

this is the 5th time that we stayed at Vilalara...this says something. We come here for the fantastic Thalasso spa and its great staff (multi lingual and so friendly), the most beautiful settings, the most unique gardens, the six pools, the direct access to their wonderful beach and also the location (easy to to reach). An unparalleled experience for a European getwaway. We stayed three nights and had a lovely time. On the last evening we dined at Vista and opted for the eight course meal which was superb. We will definitely be back.

Very clean, staff helpful. Only issue was we had do not disturb sign on door, but came back to find beds made and towels replaced. Coffee though was not replenished, and counter at coffee station was left dirty. Nothing appeared to be missing.

This hotel was wonderful !! The property is gorgeous and the beach is stunning! The hotel is very well kept, super clean, and well organized. The restaurants are great. Breakfast buffet was great options and quality and dinner options were amazing. Cocktails are the best! Properly made not just syrup. The pools were clean and actually heated. My kids loved playing. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Nice property. Great rooms. Beautiful view, if you get a beach/water view room. We had reserved a non-water view. Asked for upgrade at check in. Got the upgrade but had to pay more money, thought that was a perk with Expedia VIP, but wasn't. Nice bar area with good views and decent food. The upscale restaurant was good, but pricy. No restaurants next to hotels for food options. 15 Min walk or very short drive is the local village was is very tourist oriented and has lots of restaurants.

Wonderful property near beach and minutes to old town Alvor

The room was very clean and well equipped. We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Staff were more than helpful and did their utmost to ensure a comfortable stay. Can't say enough good things about the entire experience.

Great location ! Clean and friendly

This property is right on the 7 hanging trails hike. Not a bad walk to downtown Carvoeiro. The staff are very helpful in recommendations for restaurants and activities. Would highly recommend.

It was our first time in Algarve, and in this hotel. We arrived 2 hours early and didn't want to drag our suitcases to our boat trip to Benagil Caves. I called the hotel and the staff was super nice allowing us to check in 2 hours early without any hesitation into a beautifully decorated room with California king bed!
