Our desk staff will always have recommendations for nearby options in the event that we sell out of our paid parking. Sorry to see that this expectation colored the experience of your stay so much. Hey Ali, the Jupiter Hotel is a classic Portland staple that is a favorite amongst travelers and locals for it's kitschy vibes, centralized location, and our unique approach to hospitality. We are not like other hotels and that's on purpose! We understand that we may not be to everyone's tastes but, as you said, there are other options in town if you prefer the more corporate standard.
