Easy, self-contained getaway in Porto Seguro city at comfortable, immaculate, high quality resort. Inviting two-level central area with pool, bar, restaurant, and balcony. Excellent English speaking tour guide, Marcelo Leite, on site. Perfect balance between convenience and seclusion.

Cumbersome/slow check in, no elevator, my room’s electronic lock was not functioning and needed to be fixed, rain leaked in the restaurant and rooms’ corridor, it took one hour for a Caesar salad to arrive. The bed was comfortable, the room was fine.

Excellent hotel, very good breakfast, all staff were kind and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and has a nice pool. The only thing that was a safety concern to us is that there is no traffic lights to cross the street in front of the hotel and not all cars stop at the same time. We were crossing when the cars stopped, but a motorcycle didn't stop and almost hit us. It is not the hotel fault, but they should defenitely bring this concern to the city as it affects the hotel guests.

Paintwork and area in front of hotel could be improved from roadside to reflect the excellent pool & interior. One english speaking Receptionist would be helpful. Used Google Translate to communicate which worked well. Really like the place, the people & will be returning again prior to leaving Porto Seguro. Breakfast looked ok, but on closer inspection too many carbohydrates. Besides eggs their was only processed ham & cheese as protein. Fruits good selection. I think a Nutritionist needs to review for better balance. Will be staying again.

Escolhi o Best Western Shalimar principalmente pela localização, que realmente é o grande destaque do hotel. Fica muito próximo da Passarela do Álcool e do Centro Histórico de Porto Seguro, permitindo fazer vários passeios a pé e com bastante comodidade. Porém, considerando o valor da diária, a experiência deixou a desejar. Os quartos são antigos, com aspecto de hotel que precisa de renovação e modernização. A estrutura não condiz com o preço cobrado, especialmente quando comparada a outras opções da região. O café da manhã é apenas razoável. Tem variedade suficiente para atender os hóspedes, mas nada que se destaque ou justifique o custo da hospedagem. No geral, a sensação é de que se paga mais pela localização do que pela qualidade do hotel. Se a localização for sua principal prioridade, pode atender. Mas, em termos de conforto, modernidade e custo-benefício, acredito que existam opções melhores em Porto Seguro pela mesma faixa de preço.

Não houve um ponto negativo sequer em minha estadia no hotel. O café da manhã era maravilhoso e todos os ingredientes eram de excelente qualidade. Os funcionários foram todos muito acolhedores, gentis e prestativos. Eles inclusive prestaram atenção aos detalhes em nossa estadia.

Excelente hotel, com uma estrutura muito boa, um café da manhã suficiente e quartos espaçosos. O ponto alto fica para a zona da piscina, muito agradável e ótima pra passar o tempo. O pessoal do hotel é muito simpático e disposto a ajudar. A localização é otima também, muito próxima ao centro, sendo possível de se fazer tudo a pé, além de ser próximo ao aeroporto também.
