Unfortunately it was closed the day I was there, so I couldn’t see inside 

It's worth spending the additional money to be able to walk all the way around the inside of the cathedral

Large area that includes the Parliament building and the Presidential office. Get there early to visit the inside of the church. Must go through a security checkpoint. Opens at 9am(?), but the lines after 11am are 3-4 hours.
