Very friendly and helpful staff. Very centrally located near everything, including the municipal market and many supermarkets. You can basically walk to most important locations. Spacious rooms that are kept very clean. Air conditionning is a must and it works very well.

Great location

Great location on the main street of the plateau. Very clean. Breakfast is included but it's not at the hotel. You get a voucher for one of the restaurants near by. I was not impressed with the breakfast at Cafe Sofia. One of the benefits of having a hotel breakfast is being able to eat and get on with your day. I waited over an hour for coffee and a little ham and cheese sandwich.

We spent two nights in Boutique Hotel Praia Maria on our arrival in Santiago, and we couldnt' find a better location. Quiet in the evening, facing the pedestrian main road in the Plateau we could easily reach markets, transport, and museums. Both Eudyce during the day and Devilson during the night shifts were kind and helpful and gave us suggestions, advices and support on all our requests. The breakfast, served in the Kasa Katchupa coffee restaurant just in face of the hotel, was wonderful. We definitely recommend.

pleasant room but with serious negative aspects

The room is actually very pleasant with attention for your comfort. Fluffy towels and a table to work on. Night lights and a good shower with good pressure hot water. Nicely decorated also. But - a very serious negative thing is the fact that you don't have a window outside, only facing the corridor and the atrium. For privacy i had the windows closed which gave a somewhat claustofobic feeling. Also it was very noisy - people arriving at night not realizing how their voices carry on. The personal was correct but not really friendly.

Good location, bad service

Arrived late, as planned and the hotel knew ahead of time, and the door was locked. Had to ring the bell, yell, bang on the door for several minutes while being pestered by a begger the whole time. We didn't have any water and the person working at the desk just shrugged and said, "the shops are closed". The bathroom smelled of mildew, and there were holes in the shower wall. You could feel the springs in the bed matress. We asked for them to call a taxi in the morning and the desk clerk just said ,"no". On the positive side, it was well located, cheap, and pretty clean.

The Hotel was surprisingly convenient. Smack dead in the center of Plateau. Details to cleanliness were witnessed daily. However, on two separate days of my week stay I had to kill a roach.

You get what you pay for! Really convenient and the staff were so helpful with the breakfast option and even notified our tour guide that we went out to eat. Do not expect nor compare it to any Holiday Inn or Marriott because, it is not. A place to get some shut eye and even provided a hairdryer for my wife! Book it, coz we did. Thank you!

Good place for a night or twi.

The hotel is in a wonderful location. It was difficult for me to find however because it’s advertised as Boutique Hotel Santa Praia and the name is Posada Santa Praia. Why don’t they just use the name on the hotel? The bed was comfortable and shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling off and the wifi didn’t work in my room.

Bien situé, peu cher et bon service.

Un hôtel incontournable à Praia, peu cher, très propre, situé en pleine rue pietonne, avec commerces et restaurants. La chambre familiale est grande, un lit double, un lit simple et un lit bébé. Pour la réserver, mettre 2 personnes et envoyer un message à l'hôtel pour ajouter une troisième. Le petit déjeuner est compris et très bon, surtout les beignets à la banane. Le personnel est top (sauf une personne plutôt fermée). Je le recommande.

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der belebten, aber wunderschönen City von Praia. Das Personal im Hotel ist supernett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer die Menschen und ihre Art zu leben, wirklich kennen lernen möchte, ist hier am richtigen Platz!

Excellente localisation, mais...

L'hotel est très bien situé, très central. Mais ca vient avec le bruit de la musique des restaurants autour jusqu'à environ 23:00, et on entend la réception située à l'étage en dessous (aire ouverte). Donc chambre très peu insonorisée... Très bon petit déjeuné dans le restaurant situé juste en face, mais offert seulement entre 8:00 et 10:00.
