Very friendly and efficient staff, very professional. Great rooms, AC, clean, great breakfast to get you going. Lots of good information available there. Super nice outside sitting/dining. Very reasonably priced lunch too! Great value for the money.

There was person at reception during day hours, but if you arrive late, you preemptively can get their number and text or call for a $5 ride from Airport to Goshen. Staff very friendly and there is a filtered watering station in lobby. Our room had 2 beds and a private shower. Very clean. Nice pillows. No noise walls thick. Breakfast was good. There is coffee bar and bakery a block away. Yes, I would highly recommend

Cute hostel with really nice staff. The outdoor area is great to relax in the hammoks after a long day exploring. The owner was kind and gave us recommendations on what to do. The rooms were spacious with decent on-suites. The breakfast was really good and free water was a bonus! Good location only 5-10min walk to the main shop area. Would stay here again

Really relaxed vibe, only a short walk to the beach and main hub of San Cristobal. Owner super friendly and although we didn’t use the kitchen as we only stayed a short time, it would be really handy for a longer trip.

Awful hostel with an obnoxious owner
Awful experience. The owner claimed to have not recieved my reservation and then lectured me on how lucky I was that he had a room that night. This is not a hostel but a cheap guest house that has very thin walls and was extremely noisy. Despite speaking minimal english, the owner was extremely condescending and I ended up leaving 2 nights early and he would not refund me the money. There are much better places to stay at on the island.

La pasajera desde que llegó tuvo una actitud desagradable, se le dió la habitación y al llegar la tarde salió de la habitación, tiró las llaves en el escritorio de recepción y sin decir nada salió. Se le llamó, inclusive salimos a la calle tras de ella llamandole para que explique que pasó pero definitivamente no hizo caso al llamado. Su habitación estuvo lista, como vamos a devolver dinero si la pasajera sale sin dar explicaciones, tirando las llaves. Es la primera vez que hemos tenido una pasajera con esa actitud.

The owners gave me a difficult time when I wanted to rearrange my booking. They told me I had to pay for my entire stay when the cancellation policy stated I owed one nights fee for changing my reservation. Another person I had met at the hostel had to share his single room with another guest, yet was still made to pay full price.

Es falso lo que menciona la pasajera. En primer lugar no debe emitir comentario de otro pasajero si desconoce la situación El pasajero llegó con otra persona y voluntariamente dijo que pidia compartir su habitación, no se le pudio compartir y era lógico debia pagar su tarifa completa. Por otro lado la pax llego el dia que debia hospedarse a indicar que no va ha hospedarse x cuanto tiene una amiga que le ifrece estadua gratis. Le indicamos que debio haver modificado o cancelado con anterioridad. Sin embargo dando cumplimiento a las politicas se le cobro la primera noche. Es lamentable que se emita comentarios no verdaderos.

Angel was nice and responsive. Very quiet property at night, with the exception of a rare barking dog. Good location off the main street with a bakery and laundry nearby. 5 to 10 minute walk to waterfront. Lots of fun watching the sea lions there. We enjoyed using the central kitchen where we met other travelers. Has a great courtyard with hammocks and a comfy seating area up stairs with a large screen TV. Overall great value for the price.

The host was very nice and helpful and the common areas were quaint, but not as nice as the pictures. Location was okay, but adjacent to some pretty run down areas and abandoned buildings. The electric shower has exposed electrical plugs and wires is very dangerous to shower if not very careful. Host should fix this before renting to more guests. All the rooms are sliding closet doors with a small luggage lock, so consider elsewhere if traveling with any valuables.

The room is comfortable but small. WiFi is ok. It has fully equipped kitchen that guests can use. It also provides free coffee and tea, but sometimes they are out of stock. It has a small garden in the front. Checkout time is 9:00am which I think a little bit too early. Generally we had a good stay.

They have a kitchen!!! If that’s important to you, then this place is your white whale, as Not many places in the Galapagos have one. They also provide free drinking water and had a bunch of bananas to take from, outdoor seating, hammocks, and comfy indoor seating. The WIFI isn’t the greatest and they don’t serve breakfast (so you need to provide your own coffee), otherwise everything else is great. The location is perfect, leas than a five minute walk to the pier, a delicious bakery and several laundries a minute away. It’s also quiet, has nice beds, and hot water

Convenient and economical hostal
We stayed at Hostal Gosén for a couple of days at the end of our stay in Galapagos. The owner was very friendly and helped with arranging the tours. The rooms were nice and comfortable. There is a great bakery and a laundry place on the same block. It was very close to town too and really economical too.

Nice friendly hostel
This is a very clean and comfortable guest house with an excellent kitchen which guest can use. Beds are comfortable and clean. It is in a quiet area of town and within walking distance to beach and other attractions. The rooms are a bit worn and the sound proofing is not that good but it is good value.

Great hotel to stay. close to everything. Room is clean and big. Shower is great. Service is excellent. 9AM check out is a bit too early if you have a 1PM flight, but I checked in alot earlier, so it is a wash. Overall, an excellent place to stay on the island, highly recommended.

Lamentable la falsedad de su comentario, donde confirma que se le abierto su equipaje, todo el hostal tiene cámaras de seguridad, usted jamás nos refirió lo que menciona, jamás hizo algún reclamo, si lo hubiese hecho hubiésemos procedido inmediatamente a revisar las cámaras donde se hubiese verificado su falsedad. Somos muy respetuosos en precautelar las pertenencias de nuestros clientes.Usted no puede confirmar algo que no sucedió.

Cuando llegué dijeron que habían tenido problemas con las reservas y que me moverían a otro “de sus hoteles”. Era viernes en la tarde y el lunes siguiente era feriado para ecuador así que estaba lleno como para buscar otro lugar por mi misma. El hostal donde me llevaron era pésimo, sin servicios, Ni lugares comunes, olor a encerrado, y la cama pésima. Resulta que era el hostal de la tía del dueño. Me cobraron lo mismo y por las molestias no me cobraron los impuestos, lo que hicieron ver como un gran favor y ni siquiera me dieron boleta. Me siento estafada además de que pasé una pésima noche

私達が予約した部屋は以下の通りです。 シングルベッド 2 台 ガーデン ビューの 20 ㎡ の部屋 インターネット - 無料 WiFi お食事とお飲み物 - 冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、および共用キッチン 寝具 - 高級寝具および羽毛布団 バスルーム - 3 室のバスルーム、シャワーおよびレインフォールシャワーヘッド 便利な設備 - デスク、アイロン / アイロン台 (要リクエスト) 実際は シングルベッド 2 台……ダブルベッド1台でしたが、これはよくあることです。 ガーデン ビューの 20 ㎡ の部屋……隣家の壁ビュー(約50cm)のスーツケースを広げる場所もない10㎡程の部屋 インターネット - 無料 WiFi……ほとんど繋がりませんが、ガラパゴスなので仕方ないでしょう。 お食事とお飲み物 - 冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、および共用キッチン……部屋には何もありません。冷蔵庫も電子レンジも共用キッチンに1台ずつあるだけです。 寝具 - 高級寝具および羽毛布団……羽毛布団はありません。 バスルーム - 3 室のバスルーム、シャワーおよびレインフォールシャワーヘッド……バスルームはごく狭いのが1室だけです。 便利な設備 - デスク、アイロン / アイロン台 (要リクエスト)……アイロンはリクエストしていないのでわかりませんが、デスクと言えるような物はありません。 オーナーが私達の予約した部屋を把握していなかったのか、わかっていてこの部屋をあてがったのかは不明ですが、これほど予約した部屋とあてがわれた部屋が違ったは初めてです。正直返金要求したいレベルでした。

Al parecer el cliente se ha equivocado al hacer su reserva ya que todo lo que manifiesta jamas ofrecemos en nuestros servicios, es lamentable que al momento de realizar una reserva no lea detenidamente lo que ofrece el establecimiento, hemos cumplido con brindarle el servicio que ofrecemos y es el mismo que vendemos por las paginas, ademas el cliente no manifesto absolutamente nada durante su estancia, al contrario se manifesto complacido. Rechazamos las expresiones del pasajero ya que manifiesta lo que no es real.

Mücken, mittelmäßige Unterkunft, nicht
Man kann das Zimmer schlecht vor den ganzen Mücken schützen, da sich ein ca. 5cm großer Spalt oberhalb der Tür befindet. Die Klimaanlage ist eine riesige, auf dem Boden stehende Maschine, die so laut ist, dass man sie nicht über Nacht laufen lassen kann und es ist leider sehr feucht im Zimmer. Die Frau an der Rezeption spricht kein Englisch. Das hatten wir zwar in anderen Unterkünften auch, nur haben sich die Leute in anderen Unterkünften wenigstens Mühe gegeben langsam zu reden etc., hier war das nicht der Fall. Sie hat sich überhaupt nicht bemüht uns die Dinge verständlich zu machen und hat stattdessen immer mehr und mehr erzählt. Die Schnorchel muss man gegen Gebühr leihen (was leider nicht bedeutet, dass sie zwischen den Ausleihen wenigstens mal ausgespült werden...).Es gibt noch einige kleinere Dinge, die uns nicht gefallen haben (z.B. das sehr dunkle Bad). Der fehlende Mückenschutz war das größte Problem. Als wir gebucht haben, war es die einzige halbwegs günstige Unterkunft (wobei der Preis für das was man bekommt zu hoch ist!). Wir würden es nur buchen, wenn alles andere wesentlich teurer ist, ansonsten definitiv nicht wieder!
