"Room furniture was falling apart, chairs were broken. There was a checklist of items they wanted you to take note of upon check in (some items were missing and they made note but not replaced). Fridges were dirty and broken. Shower head was broken and had to be replaced three times before it was fixed. Mold was in the rooms, beds are hard. Jet Tub in room did not appear clean so it was not used. Towels were not readily available. Request for extra blankets had to be made 2 days in a row before 1 of 2 requested was given. Food was poor temperature, same food was offered just about each day. Reservation process for restaurants was not feasible. There are many things that were wrong for the few things that were right to matter. The list is too long for me to continue, make the best of your stay if you book but don’t expect much. They property would be great if it was managed properly. "

"It's a timeshare property, so expect to be constantly hounded to take a tour. The resort is many resorts and condos combined so there is lots of walking and tons of stairs so it is not suitable for handicapped or older guests. The claim of the multitude of bars and restaurants is deceiving. More than half are for timeshare owners only, and they get preference for all restaurant reservations even if you are in line when the concierge opens. Expect to eat at the buffet or at 9 pm. Liquor is well brands only and very weak. Property is poorly maintained with broken toilets, hot tubs and fixtures everywhere. Sand is dark and most beaches are reserved for owners only. The highlight was the peacocks. The town of Puerto Plata is also run down. Opt for Punta Cana instead. Resorts and beaches there are far superior. "

"We had a great room in building one facing the ocean and woke up every morning with a smile feeling relaxed. The grounds are beautiful and the staff were excellent. I would def come back. It was a prefect resort for my family that did not break the bank."

"The gym needs an update no treadmill and what’s in there doesn’t turn on. Towels are hard to exchange get to the exchange place right on time or you will be using your towels for days! Not enough umbrellas at pools if you are looking for shade you won’t be getting it at this pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and the food was good."

"Terrible customer service, lack of communication, empathy, noticed the difference between customer with membership and without it, I also booked 2 double beds room a least nearby, and they placed us in different buildings. Never again! "

"Overall we had a great time. We stayed here for a full week and loved the pools, the spa, the beach bed setup and the beach itself. We had the VIP wristbands but needed to be "members" to eat anywhere else on the resort which is massive. So with just the buffet, the food was very medicore. Also, nothing is explained to you about what you do or don't have access to on the property which is difficult, you have to ask a lot of questions. The beach area for VIPs had a sushi bar which was VERY good so I ate that for the most part. A big disappointment was that the whole week we were there, our shower was very cold and sometimes didn't even turn on at all. One night the power was out and we were all eating in the dark. Another minor issue was our room did not come with a TV remote and we requested one about 5 times and never got one. Besides those issues, rooms were clean and everyone working was super nice. If you stay here, walk down the beach and you'll find some guys in a shop that you can book excursions through, I recommned using them since they are local guys and will take care of you your whole trip!
