We had a very short, overnight stay but our host was gracious and accommodating. The room was comfortable and the location was conveniently located near the beach and the marina.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated all their help. But in their advertisement they did not say the bedroom is not handicap access. The bedroom is upstairs and you have to climb several stairs. Also, in their advertisement they say coffee and danish would be served in the morning. We only got coffee. I would’ve gave them five stars if it wasn’t for these two things.

Location was excellent . Our room was very nice- lovely large walk in shower in bathroom. Full kitchen downstairs and a nice sitting area. Stairs leading upstairs are steep with no railing except for the last part. Had to leave luggage downstairs as we could not manage carrying them upstairs .

I went to see the place the day before. When I arrived, there was no indication of where to park or how to get into the gated property. I messaged them through Expedia and asked the charge for cancelling, they said "No charge". But my credit card was already charged!!! I contacted Expedia and they made several attempts to contact the manager, but no one responded. So I was charged for 5 nights and did not even stay one!!! The area is not safe (hence bars around the entire property). Yet they expect you to park your (rental) car in some vacant lot accoss the street that is NOT gated! As a single female, that doesn't speak Spanish, I did not feel safe, but I still can't get my money back!?!

We only stayed 1 night. we booked it due to its proximity to the airport. We had an early morning flight. Lourdes (Lulu) was extremely accommodating and arranged airport transportation for us. The room we had was wonderful. extremely clean and comfortable.

Delightful Stay!

Casa Columna is a beautiful typical style home that hostess Lourdes has filled with tasteful, comfortable furnishings. We stayed in the master bedroom and were very comfortable with the huge king bed, large luxurious bathroom with walk-in shower and gorgeous view from the balcony. The pool was wonderful to relax and exercise in and we had it to our selves as it serves a very small private community. The pier with a terrific variety of outstanding restaurants is within a short walk. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, right next to the Marriot and a few other resort hotels. The airport is a very short Uber ride away. As a bonus, Lourdes makes the best French press coffee!

The atmosphere of the property is friendly, peaceful, helpful and respectful, from the owners and other travelers. Though the rooms are worn in some ways, they are impeccably clean and good size, have large double closets with shelves and beds are comfortable. Great to have a shared kitchen available, as well as dining area and outdoor patio table. We had the pool almost to ourselves. The airport is very close so planes fly overhead on a regular basis, but they did not disrupt our sleep as they stop at night. The property itself is very safe, and one is able to find well lit sidewalks for walking to and from the Marina at night.

More a bed and breakfast arrangement than a hotel.

This accommodation is ideally located close to the airport. That also means that noise from planes during the day and up until around 21:00 is to be expected. We were pleased to be able to leave our bags earlier than the check in time. This is more like a bed and breakfast (coffee downstairs but not breakfast) than a hotel. It was a very long wait for hot water in the shower. Hand soap was the only toiletry provided. The internet was slow and the television was tired. The price was good.

NIGHTMARE- Evil babajaga.0 personal space. MOLDY!

In 30 years lodging frequently in Mexico this is the worst! Deceptive advertising...private home with a host that is 24/7 in your personal space. Insisted I was stupid for not knowing how to use her TV...fact was zero TV stations on her TV. Mold and Mildew on the fan and entire ceiling! I was choking all night from the mold and coughing...opened window at 230am to breath and heard dogs howling all night. When I caught her lying about the fact there was zero TV stations she was about to sit on my bed when I told her 2 metre(6 ft) and said she has no permission to sit on my bed. When she showed me how to turn on air conditioning she immediately went and shut the door to bathroom which had zero open windows. I ran out of there ASAP and again she did not give me the wake up call. Also she only takes cash and did not want to give me a receipt until I told her I would phone the police on her. I want my money refunded. I had people pick me up and went to the Westin Hotel to enjoy my vacation! This was a nightmare!
