Stylish Getaway

A unique experience-a combination of ocean inlet location, views and style. We had one of two dog friendly rooms (#8-Nautilus Suite) and it couldn't have been better.

Room was clean and beautiful and the staff, although small, was very helpful with anything we needed. The grand room was really nice and comfortable. There was some noise from the water taxis and some music playing around town but got quiet around 10p. The small village of Boca is quaint, quiet and mostly working class and felt very safe to walk around. The restaurants near the hotel were very reasonably priced and some of the best food on our trip. If you want fancy, tons of amenities, and shopping, maybe try elsewhere. If you want to get away from hustle and bustle and slow the pace down this is a peaceful spot. Felt like we were the only guests most of the time. Water taxi to Yelapa waterfall was one of our highlights. We also did a snorkel excursion to Los Arcos and drove over to El Tuito for its botanical garden. I would definitely return to this area. The locals were very friendly and polite. The pool was a great and not crowded at all.

Spectacular Views/European Boutique Hotel Feeling

It's a small, owner managed hotel built on a hillside overlooking an inlet and village. Every suite has a different view and decor-all good, some very large. Common areas are beautifully appointed and include a kitchen and two pools. This is our third stay over several years and it never disappoints.

Stylish with Bay Views!

We've stayed here multiple times and in several different suites which are all different and interestingly styish-great Boca views! This time we loved #8 (Nautilus Suite) which is dog friendly and has a full semi outdoor kitchen. The owner/manager couple are fantastic and live on the property.

This place is magical! Unfortunately during our stay we were only 1 of 2 guests so there was was no onsite food options or bar. Lots of things needed fixing and water did not get very warm in shower. Pool was freezing. Overall a wonderful place and very clean! Just needs some updating and to have all amenities advertised fully functional!

Beautiful Hotel, Great Service, Remote Location

This is a beautiful hotel in an area 8 miles south of the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta called Boca de Tomatian, Jalisco, Mexico. This hotel is NOT in Puerto Vallarta. Hotel is very nice, private, tremendous personalized guest service that a 4-room resort can provide. Free full breakfast, beautiful pools and hot tub, and overall scenery is great. Just beware of the location, as it is misrepresented and mapped incorrectly on the website (as of 1/2/2018).

THIS HOTEL IS NOT IN LA ZONA ROMANTICA. It is in Boca de Tomatlan, 25 mins (16 km) south of Zona Romantica. I’ve reported it to Expedia but they haven’t changed it

Beautiful property however it is not what is advertised. It says its in the romantic zone, but its actually a 50min cab ride south of the zona romantica. Theres nothing around and it said free breakfast but there was nowhere to get it.

We just were there for one night, and they literally kicked us out at 11:30am. Francisco checked us in, and was very accommodating, but there was a different guy the next day and he had a terrible attitude, my husband and I got back from breakfast and headed to the pool at 11:30am he chased us and told us that we needed to leave the property because checkout was at 12:00, I said to him that it was 11:30 and he said yes, but you need to leave!

My husband and I stayed at Villa Armonia for 4 days. It is a very nice property surrounded with the most beautiful view imaginable. This is a great place to get away and just read books, fish, swim, eat. There is no nightlife here and no shopping surrounding it. It is a very small town but the locals make it very welcoming to anyone staying there. We rented a boat for a few hours and the man who took us was so nice and easy going. The cost is very affordable. The whole Vila only has less than 20 rooms so it felt like we had the pool and hotel to ourselves the whole trip even though it was booked up. I hardly ran into anyone. I think next time we book the Villa we will be bringing our family and book it all up. Great location to get away to just relax. It was about 30 mins from the zona romantica. The drive was off the coast so it felt short. I would book again.
