"lovely staff. Even when a very rude lady was harrassing the staff the staff responded very professionally. Rooms very clean, easy check in and check out. Very nice patio. Enjoyed our 2 day stay."

"Despite the external appearance of this hotel being a little tired and weather worn, we were pleasantly surprised with our room. It was large, clean, reasonably nicely decorated, with good AC, well-maintained bathroom and very comfortable bed and bedding. The bathroom products (Dove) were appreciated, and plentiful in large pump bottles, and the towels were large enough and in good condition. These little things matter. It was excellent value and we would stay again if passing through port alberni."

"What a find! Great hotel on a picture perfect lake! The room was beautiful and the bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. Having access to the dock and free use of the kayaks was a wonderful extra and we made the most of it in the quiet of the early morning before we checked out. Heading into Port Alberni for dinner was not a problem and there were loads of restaurants to choose from. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to break up the trip to (or from Tofino)."

"I was really impressed with the landscape pf the property. Had an opportunity to enjoy the pool and spa and enjoyed a glass of wine on the patio. The parking is absolutely fantastic and adjacent to a couple dining options."

"Room was spacious and surrounding area was quiet. Location was great and easy to get around. Staff provided extra poop bags for our dog as a welcome gift and the free mini golf across the street was an added perk! Would definitely consider staying here again."
