room is quite good and facilities are good. shoping mall is near the hotel and it can using by work. Duke university is in 10 minuite by car. if i will visit the durham, i'll use this hotel.

Loved it!
Very clean room, friendly staffs, great breakfast! We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

The front desk, breakfast, and maintenance staff were wonderful. It is challenging that the bathtub in our suite did not drain anything near acceptably. It would seem obvious to have a program of regularly clearing the drains - there is no way our bathtub drain had been serviced any time in the recent past. It was disheartening to have such a gross experience in such a nice and professionally-staffed hotel.

Right off the I-85 exit, I expected a typical interstate ramp hotel with traffic noise and bright lights, but overall was happy with the relative quiet, easy in and out, a restaurant right next door. Staff was very friendly and the location is close to downtown where I attended a concert, so an Uber ride was fast and easy to downtown Durham. Overall a good place to stay in a safe, easily accessible area.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very nice and clean! Renovations were going on and they did a great job of sheltering guests. It did not affect our stay at all!

Initially disappointing, average overall.
When we arrived there were renovation signs around - our bathroom smelled like it had a plumbing problem the first night but the next 2 days it was fine. The bed sheets had blood spots on them - they were clean for sure, but...who leaves those in rotation?? Ohterwise the room was clean and breakfast was decent. Location is very good but next time I will stay at a hilton nearby - we will wait for renovations to be over before we try again.

Don’t book thru Expedia if you are a Hilton Honors member, Hampton Inn will not allow you to get your points. This hotel is going through renovations, staff continues to helpful and courteous. Great location for all things Durham.

The room was great but I would suggest having six towels in the room instead of 3 since the room does sleep six.

My stay
Booked a two bed and bath room and I got one bed and shower room . I told the lady at front desk and she said I booked a one bed although I had the print out that plainly said it. Also there was a giant bird feather in between the pillow and sheet.

Hotel is currently being renovated. Once that is done it should be much better. Breakfast was not very good. Eggs did not taste like anything and there appeared to be some kind of hash that was not very good. Waffles were good.
